@Epak_: It's barely PC friendly, I don't even want to try it out on mobile. The video quality is a joke, the buffering is like 2008's Youtube, it's sluggish and unresponsive...it's really all over the place. I do not understand how a publication of this scale can't solve this issue, it's been going on for years, the main reason why I stopped comming here, I usually watched video reviews and shows. It's been some time since I checked, have they even moved away from Flash? The ads buffer really fast, though, and they look great.
Seriously Gamespot, fix your rotten web player. I've given up on this site for a long time because watching videos was a terrible experience. I come back, give it another shot and it's still miserable. It's 2016 ffs, this is like Youtube from 2005. The buffering is slow as hell, the video quality is awful even in HD, the player is laggy and unresponsive...it's just a mess. Switch to HTML or anything else for that matter, ditch Flash.
@genuineXeal: Seriously, for a video game/tech site this is hilarious. GameSpot is the only site in my library that requires Flash. Having Flash even installed on your system is bad enough to start with, not even going into how it actually performs once you have to use it.
Dear GameSpot, switching to HTML5 is really not that complicated and costs next to nothing.
A cockpit view? I guess they learned a lession with Grid 2 and the rage gamers gave them for not including it in the game. Plus, the reason for that decision was just ridiculous and an insult to gamers and other developers who achieved much more on same platforms.
Also, I hope they fixed the insane overster you would get from any car doing any speed. Yeah, a FWD VW Golf oversteers like crazy...sure.

I usually can deal with 30FPS in a game, it really does depend on the type of game you're playing, I can play Simcity @25 FPS, couldn't care less. But when I first tried Crysis 3 on rock solid 100FPS I was blown away, it makes a huge difference. So, to anyone saying that 30FPS is OK for consoles or on any platform for that matter is lying to himselfe. Just because you can tolerate it, doesn't mean you wouldn't notice the difference and wouldn't enjoy 60+ FPS more than 30.
I tried one DMC title once capped at 30FPS, it was horrid and almost unplayable. Switched to PC at 60FPS and it felt like a different game, the response time is crucial in those games.
As for 30FPS being an "artistic choice"....yeah, if that's the know-how span of developers these days, no wonder modern games are going down the drain, most of them at least.
I hope someone will make a hack to unlock the framerate of The Order, and show everyone how it looks at 60FPS and prove to those devs they're talking bullshit. Not sure what's worse, actually, if they really believe that or they think gaming community is so retarded that they don't know better and will convince us in that theory.
I just love it how you can cleary see here that precise aiming in first person on a gamepad is a complete nightmare without aim assist and such nonsense. It takes this guy ages to actually aim at something. This is a joke.
I honestly am sorry that this isn't on PC because I would enjoy it much more, and no I'm not a PC fanboy, I'll get this for my PS4, but let's face the facts. The fact that you need a quicktime slowmo bullcrap to get you out of trouble and put your reflexes in advantage point in comparison to enemy is not what I like to see. "Go ahead, take your time, aim that perfectly, don't rush, we'll slow down time for you and in that fraction of time we'll make AI completely retarded and not shoot at you."
I mean, this must be a known issue. It's really frustrating, I use email on my phone a lot, and the phone keeps fucking ringing and blasting with email, and ofcourse downloading all of thos eemails is just great for my battery lol
Yeah, the new design in general is awfull, slow and laggy as hell.
