@Karmazyn Install latest beta drivers from both nvidia and ati, install fresh dx9 redist and after that run dx web setup update.
Also make sure you have .net framework 4.5.1 installed and latest realtek drivers for the soundcard (that one did the trick for me, for the sound issues and stuttering).
I had terrible stuttering and freezes, those above helped a lot, almost no stuttering, just a hickup now and then, but the framerate is fantastic and it doesn't freeze at all. Playing on Ultra, q9400, HD6850, 8GB RAM.
@ "PS4 is for rich people in Brazil" What exactly is wrong with that statement? It's both pretty much correct and funny, I don't see the illegal activity here.
I think you should write to admins, this is just silly, the guy is a dickhead obviously.
Never said it's a bad game. Can't even tell, I haven't played it, but from what I see, I like what they've done. But that's not the point of this conversation at all.
Ungratefull? I paid for the game for all of the previous releases because I fucking love the franshise. That's what I mean, why the hell should I pay for this one after I was robbed on the last one?
Also, if it's my platform that is the issue, how come many other games work OK and don't have an issue with my platform? Is it the platform's fault? No, it's developer's fault.
My only point is that the less these guys give a **** about a gaming community, the more piracy there is. It's not like pirating was "invented" and then they started making unplayable games, I'm not even talking about story/gameplay or what not, I'm talkin about actually not being able to play the game, AC3 was not an exception. Just look at what happened (and is still happening) to Maxis and SimCity. That's my point, they don't give a **** after they take your money. I'd gladly pay for a quality product, and when/if I see one again, I'll buy it.
Ignorance is not the issue here. Frustration maybe, but not ignorance, I speak of my specific situation and experience.
@SPUDIRL3 A part of what problem? The games sucking hard lately and even after I buy it I have no support or am able to play it properly? Am I the part of THAT issue? How does pirating games influence developers being lazy when they need to optimise those fucking lines of code? That has nothing to do with piracy. Did you read the part where I said I bought ACIII and couldn't play it? Now why would I ever think about giving one more penny to Ubisoft for any of their products after that?
Get a grip man, those fuckers are still making shitloads of money, so no, piracy is not hurting them one bit, they find a way to compensate for that, they sell you 5 DLCs at launch, take your money for the content that is allready on your disk that you payed for. So yeah, don't go all high and mighty on my ass. I started pirating games when the games started sucking hard and ripping me off, not the other way arround.
Not sure how it affects consoles, but on a PC it's a huge difference in any game. It is correct though that in some games 30FPS seems a lot smoother and responsive than in others. For example 30FPS in Crysis feels really nice and snappy, while 30FPS in GTAIV is just a nightmare. I guess the console ports are the issue.
The problem is you can't compare it on a console, you can't try out CoD for example in both 30 and 60, can you?
