All the new characters are fairly good. I got a chance to play around with a bit of them offline against people waiting for the game and also at home. So far, it looks like the my favorites of new characters include Makoto, Guy, Ibuki, Hakan, and Juri. Makoto got massive damage on her side and the fastest dash in the game, while guy offers players a chance to do 'reverse beat'-type combos (Fierce to low or med) at he cost of a small damage buffer. Ibuki has lots of combo potential and tools for many situations. Hakan is very hard to describe in general, but the way he plays is amazing. Juri has alot of ways to link into her ultra easy and her button charge projectiles are nice to combo with and the fact that she is a jack of all trades makes me a worthy fighter.

The rest of the characters are also good, but it can be noted that Dee jay and T Hawk could be the best characters in the game now excluding Ryu and Ibuki.

Very good so far. Makoto and Guy are amazing characters, and so is Juri. I plan on using these 3 while still holding some ground on Chun-li.

Currently using my old makoto and practicing Guy. Juri seems ok, but not enough defensive moves outside anti-air.

SSFIV Review just went up, and was given a 9.0. Seems to me like it was worth the wait and will effect EVO tournament greatly with the new characters, tweaks, and Ultras.

Only Tournaments I ever heard of was local Halo 3 Tournies, MW1, EVO, and Level|up get togethers.

Well looking at the steam stats there was a massive drop off in users a lil while ago (about 2 hours ago). It shows steam dropping from 1.4million users right down to 419,000 users. So basically nearly 1 million users got kicked off the system :D . You can keep an eye on the steam stats here :-

I just checked around the internet after reading his post and found a site called gamebattles. when you look at the console brackets compared to the PC brackets on there, It kinda would make you think Console-ites are more competitive.

Sounds like crackdown all over again.

edit: And no, Crackdown was NOT awesome. after beta was over, it collected dust in my house, while an old Genesis in my house with Sonic 2 ran strong.
