If I get Halo 3:ODST AFTER May 3rd will I still be able to play the beta?

yeah, it doesnt matter if you get it after that date.. install it from the main menu of odst

edit: And no, Crackdown was NOT awesome. after beta was over, it collected dust in my house, while an old Genesis in my house with Sonic 2 ran strong.
