The fact that most pc gamers are in the know when it comes to games and whatnot. We come here to chat about games, and go to sites like joystiq, and kotaku. Those who just bought MW2, and don't do any thing else that we do, arn't really one of us.

I think those are what companies call "Satisfied customers." They don't have much to complain about and would rather just play the game with their friends and online. nothing more, nothing less.

Can't get into a game fast enough to justify that price.

PC doesn't have good fighting games, it's mostly for consoles - the only new games went out for the PC was Street Fight 4 - which made me being surprized, anyway a bit old good fighting is Mortal Kombat 4 I think

The problem is everyone wants new. There are a couple good fighting games on PC excluding Street fighter IV. SFIII Via GGPO is an example of something not exactly new but still a great fighting game. Also Melty Blood: Act Cadenza which i actually play almost on a daily basis against other peeps.

Overclocking software can ruin your computer. That's why nVidia quit releasing nTune. People were turning their motherboards into bricks. Check to see what brand of chipset you have, and see how it holds up while overclocking. If your motherboard is okay, you can get an overclockable bios for your HP from here. Do RE5 and SF4 let you able to play with XBOX gamers? And are there a lot of PC gamers that play it online daily?

no, you will not beable to play with xbox players, but I had no problem finding games in RE5, despite it being a 2 player co-op game. SF4 I have no idea, but i heard the community is pretty massive.

edit: also, for SF4, do not use a normal controller. get a xbox 360 Fightstick TE Slim. it works better and allows you to do more advanced techniques such as Chun li's Drop EX Spinning bird combo. (jump, Target combo, standing Fierce kick, EX Spinning Bird, EX Spinning Bird, Ultra one)

TF2 and BFBC2. nothing else matters currently in FPS genre.

Most systems that has atleast Core 2 Duo 2.4ghz (ish. could be AMD equivalent) or higher should not have big problems with the game, but people like me who are stuck in dark ages (Pentium D 2.6ghz OC) can get decent play but not fully smooth.

Game didn't seem worth it to me. count me out of that free trial.

I got L4D2 and loved it even tough i showed hatred toward the original. that being said, i think its a good purchase, but i should note that im one of the few players to not have their online gameplay changed by BFBC2.
