I was planning to purchase the 360 controller, but it's price is around $39.99. I just don't know if it's worth to purchase this one.

its personal preference for re5 and lost planet i prefer the mouse and keyboard but many people prefer to play 3rd person shooters with a controller for some reason. For DMC4 controller is absolutely the better controller method.DJ_Headshot

no, you will not beable to play with xbox players, but I had no problem finding games in RE5, despite it being a 2 player co-op game. SF4 I have no idea, but i heard the community is pretty massive.

edit: also, for SF4, do not use a normal controller. get a xbox 360 Fightstick TE Slim. it works better and allows you to do more advanced techniques such as Chun li's Drop EX Spinning bird combo. (jump, Target combo, standing Fierce kick, EX Spinning Bird, EX Spinning Bird, Ultra one)

Yes a 360 controller is well worth the purchase for those games especially since it some games its the only supported controller and in most new games that have gamepad support it comes pre-configured for the 360 controller.

I beat even dmc 3 with a keyboard. No problems at all. A side note to the tc. Re5 does not have lasersight aiming with keyboard and mouse, it has a crosshair, if you want the lasersight then use a gamepad. There is also a laser mod but its kinda ehm, shoddy. I wouldnt reccomend it.

RE5 and Lost planet play best with Keyboard and mouse. Devil May Cry 4....not so much...

All first person shotters and third person shotters are best played on the pc with keyboard and mouse! Evryone knows it! I also beat DMC4 on the pc with keyboard because while i have 360 controler i dont like playing on pc with that. The bad thing about DMC4 is that it dosent support mouse. It would have been a lort easier if it suported mouse too! What fist person/third person shotters are you looking forward for the pc? I am looking forward too:

Only game that I found to be better with an Xbox controller is Dead Space, because they failed on the port, control-wise. Rheiken
