Who gives a damn who wins in the console war. GS only posts this crap and anything with the headline of XBOX One or PS4 to get your viewing of their articles so they can get more clicks on their ads and get money. But seriously, who gives a damn which console has sold more. Choose because you like the way it plays games, does what you want for entertainment, or the way it looks...but pick it for YOURSELF and stop worrying about making a console choice define you as a human! Go do something productive with your life instead of worrying if your choice of Xbox or PS4 will make you have to sit at the loser table at high school. ;)

@michaelhuntiii @Armysniper89 @Cellpwn A gaming rig from 2010 can cost you less than an console from the new generation. I paid a ton for my new desktop but it was built to last a LONG while. I am not cropping on the consoles but just saying you can have both consoles like Danny here and enjoy both, when they have games worth playing and when the software is smoothed out with lots of bug reports. :)

@Pete5506 @dannyodwyer One other thing, the PS4 may work now with the "barely" next gen games I see it pumping out, but I wonder how well it will run a few months down the road when those limited back fans and smaller case size start to overheat when bigger badder games come out. Like I said, I am buying both consoles, but the larger size and venting of the Xbox One for me means I can keep that bad boy in more places and the PS4 will have to be in a very well ventilated place. As an electrical engineer, I wonder how long it will be before we see the PS4 throw fits.

@Cellpwn You are not missing out as the current gen games are not worth running out and buying a $400-500 console. Wait for the games to rival those of a PC before you think about running out. I bet you, that Assassins Creed will look better still on your PC (if you got a decent card) will look better than the PS4 version. Same with BF4 and CoD Ghosts. All the next gen is doing is catching up with the PC hardware at this point. Wait.

@Pete5506 Be careful to believe any hype good or bad or anything either vendor says about "reliability" rates. They often wont know all the good or bad until a few months later when they get all the broken devices. Think about how often you go into a BestBuy and the returns section has tons of stuff sitting there. They don't return a broken device right away to the vendor. They collect them and send them back in droves. AND they often send them to central wharehouses where they collect multiple regional store broken devices. Even if those numbers were high or not, don't expect MS or Sony to give you an honest story. And as always beware of buying into any BS on the internet from any site or comment. They are often bought and tell you they aren't.

I plan, as the stats say (38% last I heard), to buy both consoles. I am just going to wait for all you to find the bugs first and the real games to launch. As @dannyodwyer said in his last week piece, the first titles always are not GOTY material.

@oscurokey @williamjcajina yea because they don't give a camera for free...but the minute you add it I am sure that feature wakes up. Watch out and don't fall into the bullshit.

Eddie loves to dig up every piece of negative Xbox One material and every glowing piece of Sony. As a pre-order owner of both, it kinda gets tired seeing how blatant they are with their fandom. They will both be amazing consoles. If you can buy both, do so and enjoy all the exclusives. If you cant, then buy what looks like the best for you and that will be the best. If your friends are on it...great! Otherwise its OK to not feed into the media's hype engine.

The world needs to be told what to think by the press. Its sad. The press make everything into a competition so they can get clicks and views, hell they even admitted it here in their "The Point" show. They want you to live your life choosing between A and B. IPhone vs. Droid. XBox vs. PS, and Republican vs. Democrat. The sad thing with this mentality is that Gamespot is forgetting those of us that plan on buying BOTH consoles because there are exclusives that we want on both machines so will simply invest. No it has to be a war. From now on, I am simply going to ignore blatant bait press like this video from getting any of my attention.

Wait a minute I can handle anything reviewed in this game but calling weapon accessories "doodads" just ruins the validity of the reviewer and this review!!!. ;)

@jshmarcus @Armysniper89 @punksterdaddy I am sure there are exceptions where it is cheaper but in the markets where they have no penetration, such as China, this is still not cheap enough to compete with Android. That is the point. Apple has stagnated and needs to grow or lose even more market share.
