[QUOTE="Anberlin_2004"]Even if you had the inputs, it will look horrible. Imagine taking a small resolution jpeg photo and zooming 10x. The best thing to do if you want to play N64 on HDTV is to play them on a Wii (if you can find the games you want for download) or find a nice tube television. The tv would be the cheaper solution of the two.ehhwhatever

I was surprised when I used s-video cables with my N64 and played Quake II on a plasma TV and it looked good. My guess is Q2 is major enhanced with the expansion pak.

I forgot to mention that, yes, Plasma is another alternative. Plasma behaves alot like a tube tv while giving an HDTV picture. Plasmas are nice. I might get one sometime. LCD is fine for progressive Gamecube/ PS2/ XBOX, Wii, PS3, or XBOX360, however, it's not the same for anything before these systems (atleast from what I've seen).

Power is not everything. Great games are everything. I will always by a Nintendo made console without waiting on reviews because I know Nintendo will always have atleast 2-4 games a year that they make which I will be interested in. Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Donkey Kong never get old.

It's surprising since Nintendo has done more generous things in the past. For one, Super Mario All Stars was free with the purchase of SNES. With Gamecube, they gave us a much better mix with the 4 Zelda games free (Zelda, Zelda II, Zelda OoT, Zelda MM) with a Gamecube purchase. With purchase of Zelda WW, we got a Zelda OoT and a different version free with preorder. $29 isn't bad (should be $20 though since it's esentially a recycled game and hopefully I'm wrong), but it seems odd to have a bundle that amounts to less than 1 MB on a 4GB Disc.

The reason wii sales have slowed imo is it cost the same as the 360 arcade. Now if they drop the price to say 150 dollars it would sell much better.pimpog
The Arcade has been that price well before the Wii lowered theirs last year. In fact, the Wii was outselling the 360 even more when it was $50 more.

Since Living Rooms have to be big, this will keep Kinect from going mainstream. I have a large living room, but I'm not the average consumer. The Wii is not limited to having a large living room. Sorry, George Michael, it won't be half as successful as the Wii.

Interesting read about how one has no issues with the Wii, but the Kinect is another story.

For games like Resistance, I can understand, but not for games like Ratchet & Clank. The R&C series might continue to be an exclusive with Sony, but Nintendo is great home for platformers. I consider Ratchet to be the next best thing to a platformer that is not made by Nintendo, Pre-MSownedRare, or Konami.
