Its pretty much common knowledge that the Tea Party base are ill-informed people that have little clue of politics... The fact that Sarah Palin is still the spiritual head of the movement is proof of this.. sSubZerOo
Those are hasty generalizations to project on a group of people who support balancing the budget and less government.

Just a few things:
Nearly all full-timesalariedemployees get healthcare whether in the public or private sector, it's part of their compensation; if a person gets paid 45k/yr and 5k/yr in health care benefits, they're actually being paid 50k/yr, there is no such thing as "free" healthcare no matter who your employer is. They just pay you less so they can use that money to pay for healthcare.
I also don't believe you understand what a "union" is. A "union" is a group of working who have collective bargaining rights in negotiating salaries and benefits. Wisconsin is in a lot of trouble right now because state employees have "union" demanding to keep benefits at a level that the state can no longer afford to pay; you can thank the democratic party for that.

[QUOTE="Amber084"]I once had a professor who I overheard bragging to his colleagues about how many students he failed. I dropped his class before I ever became one of them. Imagine that type of logic in any other line of work; do salesmen brag about how many accounts they've lost? do doctors brag about how many patients they've killed?Darthkaiser
Most of my teachers do that, I once had a teacher that told us that no student passed his class.....EVER Turns out me and my friends were on the D and the exam grade was 50% we had like 65 with the first 50% so I had to pass that test and we studied from previous years exams from other groups who had to re-do the subject on summer. The thing is we did so many problems until I saw that some of them had been repeated from previous years and I discovered a pattern, the exam was made of 4 problems " the odd numbered ones were from the last two even years and the even numbered ones were from the last two odd years" So doing the math It was like this for the 2010 test. Problem 1: The number 1 of 2008 Problem 2: The number 2 of 2009 Problem 3: The number 3 of 2006 Problem 4: The number 4 of 2007 I think I got it right, The 5 of us got 100 on the final test so me and my small group of friends passed with B or around that Maybe the teacher is good at explaining but the laziness still gets him like it would do to any other guy

Imagine if you were going to get surgery and the doctor bragged to you, "Most of my patients don't survive because I'm a tough surgeon!"

I'd probably be with my hubby and let him take care of it.

Private universities are a complete ripoff. You get the exact same piece of paper when you graduate that you'd get at a state university, except you pay 10x more money to get it. Convincing students that a private university's degree carries more weight in looking for employment is quite possibly the biggest scam of modern times.

I teach Pre-K in a public school. I enjoy it very much. I don't really have an "hourly rate" since I'm on salary. I typically work 50 hours per week; 7 per day teaching and then a combination of 2-3 hours per day before and after school with planning, grading, paperwork, etc.

So far? It's 2011, I don't think any more movies can come out in 2010.
