Just in general Sony has been updating BC on the PS3 with almost evry update so far for improved compatability, I suspect that until the newer Euro systems reach a close match with systems that use the EE here in the US that our Firmware will have a different set of features or they'll simply keep two seperate firmware lists and the people with EEs will continue to use them unabated.
I doubt that just because we use the EE that it would keep the games from ever being upscaled.
I dislike the controls, completely unintuitive and cause me to be so enraged I broke my controller. But I will admit the graphics are beautiful. I wouldnt say the animations are stiff but the fact that the controlls dont allow you to attack in a manner you;d expect them to means you will offten make short range attacks forcing you to learn mroe elaborate controls to extend your range.
I also ad my voice to the whole "you dont have to make character data to play the game" choir. It's only for custom characters you use in quest mode or tracking your stats against friends.
I do not give a flying flip about online in this game because it would just make an already infuriating game even more psychotically enraging as you loose time after time to internet hiccups and dipps in bandwidth that naturally occur causing a game of milliseconds to devolve into a mess of button mashing and praying that your attack reaches your opponents system before his reaches yours. I do how ever whish it were possible to transfer your saved custom character and take it to a friends house.
No the game isnt perfect it fallse short for anyone not used to the specific forbidden>
if he can hear people it's already registered. Try checking your vloume settings and yeah you have to hold L3 to talk or atleast swtich to a chat channel so you dont have to push to talk.
It's old and it's still no gaurantee that PS3 controller will ever have rumble. stop jumping to conclusions. Al they said is they'd explore options for use in future products so your best bet is to hope for a brand new peripheral.
There was rumor of an attachment being developed but sony never officially said they'd support it which means it'd be useless. The settlement though could allow sony to bring it back for PS2 games on the PS3 if you use a USB converter.
But that's really the only way I see it happening. If there's ever to be rumble on the PS3 it'll be that or a much different device other than the controller we have now.
If it did had a SP game would you really expect a good story from this? I wouldint think so imo this game is not heavy story based so no biggy.
The first game was pretty story based atleast inso much as it had a backstory and cutscenes with actual actors. Infact one of those actors was supposed to voice your commander, not sure if that's s till happening but still even then this is a "reimagining" of the first game so they had the oportunity to improve the story. I really dont think that was the problem I mean they can make it as story based as they like it's the underlaying game that needs to work properly.
