Between the way people claim that the launch games suck and how much they hate the price you;d think the Europeans would be giddy at the thought that they not only get to take more time to save their money but also a extra few months to see what games get rated before they get them. Also if Sony couldnt get the PS2 to launch in every territory at the same time how the hell would you expect them to ship enough of the PS3 which has all sorts of tech that could be either hard and slow to manufacture or be, by Sony's own record possibly defective and/or failing quality assurance checks, to hit all three major markets in under a weeks time!? If you beleived that for a second you're a fool. It's the equivolent of you setting yourself up to belive that Santa or the easterbunny was comming to dinner on november 17th. As it was I was tense picking up my PS2 on launch day because i wasnt sure I preorderd in timeI got lucky that I paid in full be fore the cut off date. I'm waiting with the full system price for the instant preorders to start at one specific store and will jump on it day one because I know plenty other people will be too.
