Got to say as a Brit, we knew this was coming. On top of all the well known dislike of the Xbox One reveal, those of us in Europe were left just totally outside the loop.

It was so U.S. centric in features I just gave up on the spot. It is going to take a lot more than a free game to bridge the gap.

To start, they should do a Euro specific feature demo, showing Euro sports like soccer, and tie ups with Euro broadcasters actually running with the Kinect.

not going to start on PC gamers here, they are gamers despite the arrogance they display toward console gamers.

BUT, the idiots in the gaming industry, the ones who work at microsoft, and game companies like ubisoft, what do you morons have to say now?

This is rapidly turning into dot com bubble, the sequel.

@northArrow @Warful agreed, also another thought..Remember all that 'power of the cloud' nonsense a couple of months back?

They said that just like Sim City, the Xbox servers would be doing a lot of game computations in the cloud.

Then they scrapped the always online requirement.

But the cloudy games were still there, so *what* is now doing all that number crunching?

"For Spencer, what makes the Xbox One so compelling is that the box is a truly multi-purpose device, allowing users to jump from games to live or on-demand content with the press of a button"

And the mandatory Kinect, that NO xbox owner can disconnect will be used here to do....what exactly?

I really dont get this at all, virtual reality headsets were around 15 years ago, and not one of them got the free publicity that this thing is getting.

and if they had spent one tenth of one percent of that checking the internet bandwidth of everybody who owned an xbox, 99% of their current problems would not be here

Simply amazing, he says the criticism is unfair and yet not once does he mention the fact huge areas of the global market have very unreliable Internet connections.
