These posts are incredibly depressing.. youare allacting like Nintendo has no idea what they're doing anymore. jesus christ Nintendo botched one E3 and you all condemn any further attempts by them to redeem themselves.. man, seriously how do you think the people who bought PS3's at launch felt? (like me) the PS3 is just starting to pick up now after countless E3's that judgingby your standards were failures. whoever said Nintendo fans were insanely hard to please hit the nail on the head with that line.. i'd also like to add that they're stuck up and snobbish.

Oh yes COD 4.5 is going to be a completely awesome game! ... seriously this series lost it's appeal and credibility with me when Infinity Ward and Activision decided to release a new game every year, EA sports like... the only difference is that it's an FPS and oh god do we ever need more of those lol.

I really loved the one on the original Xbox, Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butchers bay.. so i'm definately interested.

Eh? Why? Kojima is a video game creator, not a novelist. Sure, if he writes a book it could be interesting, but you can't criticise MGS4 for not being a book. That's equivalent to saying "Aww yeah, Hamlet, very engaging, but you just don't get the same connection with the character as you would if it were a video game."

When a game is judged, it's judged against other games, not against other media that it cannot possibly beat by definition.

after you discover how to shoot the zombie in the leg then kick or suplex, etc, all the horror left the game. after that the game become completey boring.

no, of course not. There were also zombie fish, zombie giants, zombie gladiators, zombie guys like looked like Voldo from Soul Caliber, cultists, cultists with giant shields and a whole bunch of really neat boss fights... the enemies are really varied, that i agree with.. but the things that made Resident evil, Resident evil... Tension, fear, desperation and more importantly the controls that were widely disliked actually added to the experience that was a good Resident Evil game. Resident Evil 2 is my personal favourite and Resident evil 4 just destroyed (in my own personal opinion) my love for the series.

yes, even the Single player, Yes even Horde mode, yes even Local Co-op and Local Co-op Horde mode... just a rediculously BORING game. The main reason i really liked the first gears WAS the fact that it was so challenging... it kept you on the edge of your seat rather then the edge of falling asleep.

Epic's half assed attempt to try and make the characters and story more involved and "deep" just made it seem lightyears more forced and corny then the first game (btw Dom is by far the most annoying character in any game i have ever played, i could not care less about him as a character and hope he just gets axed entirely)

but at least Cole is still Cole and he's awesome. Don't care much for Marcus Fenix either... The typical "I'm an arrogant macho badass who doesnt take crap from no one" american hero is just getting REAL stale... but if it were a japanese game Marcus Fenix would most certainly look like a women and that's even worse.
