when i was a kid, i had a Nintendo 64 and before that an NES my mom would always refer to them as VCR's...

when i was 14 i got a Playstation 2 for christmas and she then reffered to it as a DVD player.... i always thought it was really funny because the systems she called "VCR" used Cartridges and the first disc based console i owned was called a "DVD" nowadays whenever i talk to her she always refer's to my systems by the correct name, either Playstation for the PS2 and PS3, or Xbox for the 360... which is impressive enough to me because i know how older people can confuse the names of all these gaming devices... i can certainly understand their confusion.

Well you see, that's because Uncharted came out ONE YEAR after Gears... Gears came out in November of 2006 and Uncharted came out November of 2007 lol.

Uncharted's gameplay was ANYTHING but original, they took Tomb Raider and Gears of War and then spliced them together.

I would have to say Resistance 2... As disapointing as the storyline is, the Single player is insanely fun and the Multi-player just drives the package home.

it's a great package all around.

Y'know, some people joke to lighten situations up.

I know that... but things like this are just not meant for kidding around, Not to mention what people we're laughing about isn't that funny anyway. That's just me though.

I'm almost 20 so i don't fit into your demographic (sorry) but what i can tell you is that my Father who is 57 years of age still plays Video games... he was the person who brought games into my life and while it was a detracter from my life for some years when i was younger, i thank him for it... He's also thinking about buying a Nintendo Wii so he can play Wii Sports, Tiger Woods and Madden with Motion controls and he sometimes jokes around that i should buy him one for Christmas.

The point is, is that if a man who's pushing 60 finds personal enjoyment from something like Video games then why can't everyone? it's what Nintendo has been saying for years and i strongly agree with it!

so to you and everyone who wonders if they'll ever grow out of this hobby we all love, i have four words for you.

depends is he retarted? Most people at our group home play the ps3, but there are some real sick people playing 360. They drool and smile though so it's all good.
