@Thanatos2k How exactly are the developers unaffected? If not directly in terms of money from the publishers (or bonuses), than in terms of total sales driving additional work for developers in the form of sequels and what not?
@spartanx169x @-RPGamer- @shuwar These are definitely similar, the text is just printed data in this case. On that note I would defend the author/publisher just the same.
@shuwar @-RPGamer- Why not your experience is the same as the first person? It's not like a used physical object that has degraded in quality over time. The first person who plays game X, will game the same experience as the second gamer. Why should a developer/publisher get less/no money from the second gamer?
@Enundr @-RPGamer- @johnrayjr Many developers/publishers talk highly of DLC and microtransactions. If you're speaking for gamers, my guess is you're not speaking loud enough.
@johnrayjr Memo to gamers. Than developers and publishers will find even more ways to nickel and dime you to make up for funds they feel they have lost to second hand sales. Whether that way of thinking is justified or not.
