Very neat, but rather short.
This game has two main shortcomings: shortness and bad-bad English voice acting. It took only about 6.5 hours to complete the full game. Don't even think about enabling English voices, you'll be disapointed. Looks like ... Read Full Review

Feel like a samurai, slice and dice like a master
This game was short, something like 15 to 17 hours, but it was a heck of a lot of fun. Visuals were great for the time of release, and it never got stale for me. This game makes it easy to feel like you're doing a heck o... Read Full Review

A chop em up game action game, that has fun gameplay and looks good but unfortunatly is over as fast as it begins.

Look closely. It's not trying to be Onimusha.
People give me a raised eyebrow when I say that this is one of my PS2 favorites, and I don't blame them. This game is extremely short, has mediocre replay value, and the story is mostly just an excuse to throw you into ... Read Full Review

Short lived but action packed. If your looking for a long adventure this isn´t it though.
The graphics are really good and the enviroment is compelling. This could be a great game if it wasn´t for the disastous controls, bad camera angles and the fact that it is a little too easy and short. The game is ... Read Full Review

The game looks great and the story as well as the game play is great, but the game is too short.
You could say that the appearance of this game may deceive you. Genji Dawn of the Samurai is a game you can enjoy while it lasts but it lacks many things. Story: During the feudal era in Japan, a great war between the... Read Full Review

I love this game but i'd love it more if there was more of it.
If Genji: dawn of the samurai was at least five hours longer I would consider it a masterpiece. Forgetting how long it is, the game looks and sounds amazing. The graphics are very detailed. Up close though some things... Read Full Review

Genji: Dawn of the Samurai is a good first game in what sounds like it can be a new action adventure series.
I’m a big fan of combo based action adventure games. As in they are some of my favorite games to be playing, far exceeding RPG’s at this point. I had just finished playing Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition and I was out l... Read Full Review
