Feel like a samurai, slice and dice like a master

This game was short, something like 15 to 17 hours, but it was a heck of a lot of fun. Visuals were great for the time of release, and it never got stale for me. This game makes it easy to feel like you're doing a heck of a lot, tearing up your foes with graceful sword slices, or huge swings of a club the size of a Greek column. Both characters were fun to play, and the story never bogged down, kept moving quickly. Lots of different clubs and spears to experiment with, not quite as many swords. The aganahame, or whatever you call them, did add a cool element in that when you trigger it, you get a split second (or longer, depending on the level of your enemy) to time a button press to pull off a lethal move. A very cool game dynamic, and used against bosses allows you to collect certain special materials for creating top weapons. Perfect length for the game. The only part I felt could have been better was the last battle, it was just a little too tough, I hate having to try beating a boss again and again and again. Wound up leveling up my guys some more and was able to take down the endboss. Satisfying game experience and doesn't take you weeks to complete.
