I hope sales are actually underperforming like some are saying, I don't think I can take a whole gen of "cod+robots" clones.

Not that there's anything wrong with people enjoying that type of game.

more or less asking if everyone is finding out the flaws of the game.

When I'm home on my laptop I'll screen grab my origin account to shut the non believers up. I have a top laptop from pcspecialists.co.uk.

Pretty convenient that the sticky makes it's way back into existence right when the DF article came up.

I wish every game would receive this amount of consideration.

It seems that way.. i dont think the game has sold all that well seeing how 5 days has past and not s single news on how much it did are out.. its already proof it didnt bring big numbers on day 1.. when it comes out on 360 it will then most likely start doing well.

big mistake on EA's part for not making it out on all platforms but im looking forward to getting a copy later on either 360 or PC.

The game most definitely has flaws but its so insanely fun that it doesn't really matter. Its a great first step for Respawn this gen and a great new IP.

@lancex2: There's more to it than just inserting mechs into CoD, yes, but when you're summorizing the essense of something, you don't make a big list of differentiators. Jeff Gertsman summerized it as CoD+mechs, and if that descriptor is good enough for him, it's sure as shit good enough for this forum.

Also if anything, I'm a hermit, but I said something you thought was bad about titanfall, so of course I must be a cow.

I hooked up my Titanfall bundle this morning! Thanks Microsoft store for the 399.99 bundle deal!! I played this game most of the morning and it looks great, a lot of fun. It's not without it's problems though. Drop a Titan on it?? More like it dropped the fps on my gameplay...I had several games when it just got choppy...

Maybe they should just drop the resolution to 720p to get better frame rate??

One thing that was funny to me was after I played Titanfall for a few hours, I put Cod Ghosts in and forgot that I couldn't run along walls or double jump... ;-)

Yep. I had friends pass on that deal. It was a TF bundle for $399 in NA from M$ store. It was a few days ago. I already have an Xbone, but I tried to win them over.

They are waiting for E3 deals and hoping for $399 price to be normal by E3 so they can pick up an Xbone for $299-$350 on sale by Black Friday. Crazy. I have a couple Xbone friends but none of them are into TF. They ware waiting for Remedy or playing multiplats/Killer Instinct. I was hoping that $399 deal would pull them over so I could justify the game and play with them.

sub 60fps, 792p, tons of screen tearing with some straight up terrible textures. The game barely looks next gen.

i don't care if you own the game or not but you said titanfall isn't demanding....how many guys with a ps4 do you think also have high end gaming pc's?

@Evo_nine: to play the game at XBone level you don't need a beast of a computer. My laptop is obviously not something everyone will have at home but if people have a pc for gaming I'm guessing they could run the game decently

@RoslindaleOne: Is it not believable that some do and some don't? My Laptop isn't even for games it's for the work (Designer, using solidworks and 3DSMax) but I game on it from time to time.

Read the DF article just barely and...ouch. Pretty scathing commentary about the X1, especially seeing that TitanFall was seen as its first "killer app" (albeit the responsibility of making the game wasn't MS' - the blame should fall more on EA and Respawn than anybody, but how can it when MS invested in making this game exclusive to their platforms? Well, sorta - Mac version might happen).

Begin tangent:

All the gaming world should be concerned over MS' publishing and engineering efforts - both appear subpar.

I'm really hoping SteamOS either becomes the effective standard for the industry or wakes MS the f*ck up and gets them to prioritize the PC ecosystem.

The game is a beast. Best FPS game I have played in years. Just pure fun. Great job Respawn, EA and MS.

It would be nice if they could patch the game on x1 to reduce or iliminate screen tearing and get the fps up to flat 60fps all the time, but otherwise, the game is damn fun and ate up hours of my last few days already. Sometimes game-play is just more important than graphics.

Just finished the first campaign, couldn't tell you what the hell was happening the whole time due to fighting but yet.... I unlocked the skinny titan.

I hate using the shotgun. Stupid challenges

Active Radar Pulse, try to spend most of your time indoors. EVA-8 was the first primary I finished the total kills challenge with. Only gun I'm not favoring is the Smart Pistol when it comes to Pilot kills, it's death incarnate to minions but pilot killing is difficult vs skilled players.

I cant use Active Radar Pulse, shit hurts my eyes. lol

Plus I cant let go of my stim, you fly so fast across levels and even helps a ton one on one against pilots. I have to use the shotgun if I wanna get to gen 3

Like I said, my friend has a top of the line pc with a low to mid GPU and he has to run the game on low settings for it to be playable.

You don't need a beast of a computer, but you definitely need a decent rig to enjoy titanfall on an xone level.

Yeah you do, especially if you want to max textures. Still, there's not too much scaling. Low settings are very comparable to maxed based on the Digital Foundry article.

Loving the game so far unstable frame rate is a bit annoying. Respawn should reduce resolution to 720p if it helps boost the FPS.

Titanfall is really fun to play ,it's not a graphics beast but is good enough. Having a hard time pulling away from it to play my all time fav franchise, the goat,the goty, ds2

titanfall is amazing to play. I expect it to outsell PS exclusives released this year. If not then maybe MS will be hurting

I just had a ridiculous CTF match where I had 23 kills, 3 deaths, 3 capture, 5 returns and 4 Titan kills.

the cows left Titanfall alone. that's why. I think they all committed suicide

how bizarre is it that ms so thoroughly trounces sony in the ability to produce killer apps.

sony has still not caught up to halogearsforza much less this new game changer.

You're going to be called a butthurt cow for saying anything bad about the Xbone version.

But I think its funny lems are finding out the hard way that the game isn't "exclusive" like they wanted it to be. And demanding proof that cows have a PC to play the superior version.

Bought this game for PC, I dont see how it got a 9 honestly. The game feels unfinished, you call that a campaign? Not many game modes, Im sure we will get more suff with Paid DLC. I once again fell for the hype and scores by big name sites. Its not a bad game but I get bored after 2 matches and quit. Highly overrated and feels rushed.
