Game is a blast!

Still loving this game. I got hunted down the other night though, I got killed 5 times in one match by the same one guy, it was like he had vengeance in his eyes and it was only for me. I got him back a little but I still overall lost, he was Gen4 as well, I'm only on 40.

Game is starting to wear thin. I have less and less inclination to play it now. The first 3 days i couldn't wait to get on and have multi hour sessions. After that i would still look forward to play but my session time dropped to about 2 hour sessions tops. For the past couple days i can't stomach more than an hour. This game is so repetitive and predictable once the initial novelty wears off. Its pretty easy as well, even for an average player like myself it took very little effort to have a modest 2.1 k/d vs pilots. I don't know why the luster faded so quick, maybe i settled into comfortable layouts etc. like triple threat extended stryder with cluster bombs and or super punch ogre setups and smg'd run and gun pilots, but its all just become derivative and shallow, perhaps i expected more. I see myself uninstalling this in a week after a few more runs of last titan standing (the only gametype that managed to remain remotely fun) since many of the better titan pilots in my experience play that mode exclusively and tactics are generally different. The one thing that did surprise and still does is how solid the game looks aesthetics wise, despite not being a technical marvel the game is poetry in motion and i will say that i will definitely be back for TF2.

I guess Titanfall 2 will be on PS4 soon. Anyone who thinks otherwise clearly doesn't know EA. This game was always a multiplat but how do you guys feel about this?

wasn't EA the ones that sold console exclusivity to MS and the Xbox in the first place though -_- ? if anything cows, or whoever, should, hate this news since EA and MS have become close business partners as of late.

That second part is especially good news.

Titanfall is built on such a strong base that it can only get better, and it's going to get better -- which is awesome to imagine.

Watch how 'titanflop' will become 'the best game ever' if it gets a release on Playstation.

I dont think anyone is surprised by this. Respawn also has been on record as saying they picked one platform for TitanFall because they didn't have the resources to expand beyond that. In that article, they talk about bringing follow on games to other platforms.

TitanFall was originally supposed to be a PC release. That was before MS pulled up with a truck full of cash, I imagine. lol

Not only has the entire layout of this site been ruined, I see the people that are left dont even talk about the game in the sticky anymore. Its all little kids arguing over sales. I cant believe I even used to post here.

Haven't played this game in a few days (grown up things) but I just sat down for a few rounds. Holy **** I forgot how much fun it was. I think I'll make it a point to play at least two rounds per day just to blow off some stream and relax.

10 hours since last post, @AdobeArtist, @blue_hazy_basic, @Wasdie, @super600, @WadeFan and other mods can we un-stick this now?

Arc Cannon is awesome

Yea.. agains't pilots.... I couldn't imagine losing to an arc cannon titan with a 40MM though... or the chaingun even. or the railgun even! it just does so little for the ammount of time you wait.

I sitll don't see the point in using anything that isn't the 40MM though... its "all-rounded" nature far overpowers the other weapon's more niche uses.

Stryder+Arc Cannon+Cluster Missiles=win.

The thing with the 40mm cannon is you have to kind of hammer away at people, with the arc cannon you're dishing out one big chunk of damage, so if you keep your distance and stay behind cover only moving out to let a shot off you can do a lot of damage without anyone even hitting you. It all depends on the map and how the other team are playing.

Nah, only thing I know that does that is the grenades. It does the same chain shot effect as it does on humans though so if you have a bunch of titans together you can do good damage across all of them which comes in handy a lot, another advantage it has over the 40mm cannon.
