Sunset Overdrive is sub-1080p resolution confirmed

I do wonder what kind of outlandish res the Bone would get this time? But let's hope it's not 720p yes? I can imagine the game looks ever so closer to the CGI trailer if it's developed solely for PS4 and at 1080p.

It's looking pretty good to not be 1080p...tbh there isn't much of a difference anyway. The only visible visual gap I see is 1440p and above.This game still looks pretty good and could be fun. All that matters.

Only complaint I have at this stage; they said this game is all about fast-paced combat and wall running, yet it looks very slow. But let's just wait and see what Insomniac cooked up this time.

I agree, and I don't even own an Xbone. This game looks great, and extremely creative. I don't think anyone truly cares about the whole resolutiongate fiasco anymore but fanboys. It's a topic beaten to death.

Your argument holds no weight. For starters Xbox One is the one with most games running at sub-HD, plus it's an Xbox One exclusive meaning Xbox One isn't capable enough to run the game at 1080p.

And what's wrong with starting petitions for games? Even your fellow Xbox players does it for PS3 exclusives like the Uncharted series and The Last Of Us.

I actually like the game's look for the record, it's just a pity it had to be on a weaker hardware that simply can't do 1080p. Insomniac's true vision would be much better realized if it's on PS4 and that's a hard fact. But hey, resolution suddenly doesn't matter any more this gen when lems utterly lost the competitive edge when they cared so much last gen when some 360 games had a few more Ps than PS3. Karma is a bitch ain't it lol?
