Sony confirms Horizon: Zero Dawn is coming to PC

Horizon: Zero Dawn Complete Edition is coming to PC, with no known release date. All that is known is that it's coming this summer.

Will more Sony exclusives start releasing on PC?

Maybe Sony's plan is to keep their big games exclusive for 3 years, and then port them over?

Maybe this is a unique situation. And it won't ever happen again.

But what I do know is that this news is huge.

I hope they port over Days Gone too, the framerate on PS4 was abysmal.

Same here, never played the Frozen Wilds expansion, so now's my chance!

I will also be buying this day one (eventhough I said I won't do that anymore because of my backlog) because I want Sony to port over more games. And I hope this'll end up selling millions on PC.

In less than 6 months PS4 lost 2 exclusives. One first party and another third party. Things are looking up. According to some loyalists, when exclusives are no longer available on a console the console serve no purpose. Good job Sony.

can't say I feel the need to play this again, but its one of the better Far Cry games of the gen for those who missed it.

HZD is still my all time favorite PS4, I'm so happy it's finally coming to Steam, guess that Making of HZD that was on Steam few years ago was telling us it was coming to PC after all.

Cows not buying games has as much, if not more to do with this. How do you sell 100 million consoles and attach your software in the single digits? Nintendo is the only company with exclusive attach rates that are worth a damn

Found this game a little dull if I'm being honest. Didn't get through it. Maybe I'll return, but it's not a great gain for PC. Already has better.

To be honest, no one didn't think Horizon: Zero Dawn was indeed coming to PC when the game release back early in 2017. Seeing it coming to PC was the last thing on my mind. The fact Death Stranding and Horizon are both using Decima Engine, I guess it's easier to port PS4 games on PC, but this is just my speculation.

Either way, glad to see Sony is slowing supporting PC community at the very least. Good that more people can experience HZD cause it's really a great game.

I would say its easier to port in general since they are all working on the same architecture. The move to x86 and AMD as the hardware provider has normalized the playing field which is a win for gamers.

Welp, don't get too comfortable herms. Sony just confirmed that porting exclusives to PC will not be the rule going forward.

I'd tolerate $39.99 since the game is already 3 years old. But I'm not really paying that especially after seeing the game go on sale for $10 on the past Black Friday.
