Sony confirms Horizon: Zero Dawn is coming to PC

I don't have to pretend or to prove anything. Sending threats over SJW/political reasons is one thing and doing it over games not being exclusive is another. Oh and I saw your links about PC gamers and couldn't find anything where a person explicitly sending threats, only the article talking about that. What I did find is lot of anger in a form of 'If I come across you I'll do 'X'. Not like what Sony fans did way back during the PS3 days. There are entire articles talking about the cult of Sony fanboys. This all happened way before the birth of modern internet and social media.

Now that's out of the way, Yes, cows are the worst. I have already outlined on example but that's not the only thing. They attack anyone and everyone they think are gaianst Sony. They attack other devs, people, third party games, journalists etc. just because they think those games/people outshine their exclusive games devs.

As for Horizon not getting warm reception from the PC community. Why would it? What's special about it? It's your run of the mill Sony template game that's at best is a polished Far Cry clone. PC community/gamers don't owe this game anything.

Oh and About Detriot. Thanks for bringing it up. So, as you are trying to imply that we are simply jealous of your games then do point out if D:BH broken any sales record on PC. I have already pointed it out that rubbing it in the faces of fanboys is not the same as being excited about the game it self. That's exactly what is also happening here. The people who liked the games, still like it and they have also already played it. Those that didn't, aren't going to just because it's now available on PC.

I clicked a ton of shit on my old computer in the 2000s and it still did what I needed it to: played Diablo 2 and did my school work.

A game that could use being run at above 30fps and I think the shooting could feel really nice with M+KB.

Sony is taking the MS approach next gen which is good.

Game is overrated but hopefully Spider-Man gets ported in the future

It had its flaws and was a bit repetitive.

But for me it was certainly one of the better survival games out there: scavenging for fuel and ammo. Fighting individual zombies or running away from huge hordes.

yeah , whenever I jumped though intersections , the frame-rate sharply dropped which was really annoying

HZD is one of the PS4 games I would have wanted to play. Maybe someday.

Oh and all the gamers who are craving for 60FPS and 4K. Hold your horses. It could well turn out to be a straight port ala Dark Souls. I know they are not a Japanese developer who are technically incompetent but still.

4K is a retarded resolution anyway. Good for movies and simple games, since there is very little to process, but ridiculous for AAA games on even high end PCs.

@ezekiel43: it doesn't to me - it's passing through shadowso the contrast between the plates and dark under-frame is just accentuated

This was a game written for a netbook processor, so it should be able to perform well either way, unless the port ends up being in incompetent hands.

I really want to see the advance graphics options menu.

When asked if Horizon Zero Dawn would have ultra-wide support, Guerilla Games' Community Manager Anne van der Zanden replied in the affirmative and confirmed that the screenshot was from the PC port.

It's actually a PS4 game, so.... no?

I would totally buy and play those again if they brought them to pc. Hell I wish they would bring all of them while they're at it, if they were to do it.

@DragonfireXZ95: The pic I posted was 3440x1080 while the one you shared was 1920x1080. I do wonder why they didn't use the 3440x1080 one for Steam.

And it's the only PC shot so far, all the others are from PS4 pro, which is strange.

@the_master_race: Cory Balrog did say he wanted the game on PC. With the Sony World Wide Studios CEO saying they're looking into porting games to PC to now Horizon Zero Dawn a major PS4 title coming to PC I believe the chances of God Of War coming to PC are fairly high but it'll probably be like a year or two into the PS5 life cycle with a PS5 version also being released/

I'm sure if the HZD sells well , Sony will most likely port its other games sooner

@the_master_race: I hope they do release some of those other titles on PC. Then I could pick up the titles I missed on PS4 there.

Awesome! Horizon was one of the few games I was interested in playing and now its coming to PC! will definitely buy! otherwise the only other exclusive of interest from the playstation side is Spiderman.

I also heard rumor TLOU2 will be coming to PC as well. It's hard for me to wait though, I got that game lockdown PS4 and I need to get that out of the way. Sony knows the money is on PC and they are trying to maximize as much as they can.

Edit: I'm more surprise Bloodborne is taking this long to be on PC, it's the most requested PS4 game then HZD/GoW combine.

3440x1440 ultrawide or 4K with HDR

Grrrrrr, the choice are tearing me up!

I was just going to watch TLOU2 on youtube but I might even put that on hold for the possibility of a PC version. Yeah they really should put Bloodborne on PC it would sell like hotcakes, the Dark Souls franchise is already very popular on PC.

I got to choose between 1440p 120fps or 4k 60fps. It pains me because I like the aspects of both but can only get one of either.

Awesome. Next gen, I'm not buying a console period. My ps4 officially has nothing I care about that I couldnt have gotten a better version of on PC now.
