• PS3 20 GB launch - $500
• Wii launch - $250
• 360 20 GB launch - $400
• 7 years XBL gold * $50 = $350

I dont think they should charge people for peer ro peer play, in my opinion it means that microsoft have managed to both sell and rent hardware at the same time.

PS3 was really a great deal.

Add HDDVD ,WIFI and rechargeable battery pack to 360 price and is even more clear.

And do you need it if you play primarily Single player games? nope.

Actually, when it comes to number of games, its 360 > PS3 > Wii. The same happens if you only count A+ games.

Actually, when it comes to number of games, its 360 > PS3 > Wii. The same happens if you only count A+ games.

PS3 + Wii is a better value, overall. For a core gamer, like me, 360 is clearly a better option. I would hate to not be able to play Gears, Left 4 Dead, The Witcher 2, Trials Evo, Halo, Forza, Minecraft, etc... I hate the mandatory live fees, though :evil:

Why is it that the people who have such a problem with XBL fees seem to be the same people that don't pay for the service in the first place ?

I said i wouldn't be replying to this thread anymore, I am doing it only because my friend eltormo quoted me earlier.

See my edits in red dude. and also, a game like Halo Reach that i have played for hundreds of hours is easily worth the live fee alone. hell, the vast majority of multiplat games with online modes aren't even worth a w@nk after a little more than a few hours.

Its proof positive that XBL is worth the fee when there are games worth playing that you cannot get anywhere else.
