Xbox One needs a price drop or this will continue. It will eventually reach a point where it is unstoppable as friends start to get what friends have, etc.
MS may have sold more consoles with 360/PS3, but they lost the more important game war. The public will see that. Its why im buying a PS4 next month
i actually thought the ps4 would still be a little under the x1 because of supply and the numbers would be high for both but , im quite shocked by the numbers..the x1 isnt doing so good in its #1 country..however the ps4 is doing good
Microsoft still has the superior attach rate, but looks like that's pretty much all they have. Second Son and Titanfall in March should be the real tipping point though. Either people will want Titanfall on the Xbox One or they don't feel it's worth the $500 system price tag and get it on PC/360 which they already own. Second Son will either prove that the PS4 has excellent games on the way or will disappoint and potentially drive people to the Xbox One.

they actually didnt, sony confirmed the playstation family sold more than anything else in jan. last gen consoles must have taken a nose dive

Not sure if this includes handhelds but if it does PS4+PS3 > Xbone, Xbox 360, Wii, Wii u, Vita, 3ds sales. So it doesn't look like January 3ds sales very high at all.
Does anyone know if the Xbox one has a lead in any region atm? I know PS4 surpassed Xbox in the Oceanic region after January, and it currently has a slight deficit in the US Market, Europe is a no, and neither console has launched in Asia (Not like Xbox has a shot here), so Canada maybe as its numbers are in a separate NPD and Brazil because of tariff pricing?
Price really plays a big role in console wars. The 360 killed the PS3 month after month because it was cheaper. Same thing is happening right now. The PS3 took the whole gen to catch up with the 360 but I'm guessing it won't take as long for the One to see better sales than the PS4. For now let's capture how Sony fans are celebrating too hard too early. I don't blame them after the droughts of success hit Sony pretty hard. Hopefully Sony won't sell anymore buildings and branches of their company anymore. I expect them to try to push the Vita harder now using this nice PS4 sales bump.
1-I sincerely though the xbox one would out sell the PS4 in January because the units was basically sold out for almost half a month.
2-This confirms what i and many others have been saying,MS had 900k unsold units from December,MS switch numbers from sold to consumer to sold to retailers,from those 900k like 750k still unsold.
This confirms why MS has been so desperate offering $100 for people to trade in PS3 or 360,it also show the tactics they use on Mashinima,MS is desperate to sell consoles,the units is not selling in US and those numbers are pretty low,their sales peaks like i told Stormy joe like 10 times..
I was right again about sales the PS4 is destroying the xbox one in sales,and to think that they still have issues with stock and still they are able to double MS numbers,i think the gap now should be closer to 2 millions now,and after the Japanese launch it will be close to 2 and half million or close to 3 million units..

The ps4 as stated before is only selling more because of the price. It sure as hell isn't the games lol. I mean look at knack. It sold like crap becasue its a shitty exclusive & if it came out on ps3 no one would give a crap either. KZ4 as I've stated before is a crappy exclusive since KZ3 sold terrible compared to KZ2 after gamers found out how shitty kz2 was so many skipped kz3. Only reason kz4 is getting any attention is because its sonys ONLY exclusive thats decent(not saying much) & if it came out on ps3 it would of sold like shit just like kz3 & would of got brushed off. So PS fanboys have to praise it cause theres nothing else to play lol unless they want to praise a call of duty game lol which has been shit for the past 4 years.. Driveclub got delayed till god knows when lol.
Funny thing is that everyone who owns a next gen console is buying that piss poor COD Ghosts lol. Even tho its a direct port of the ps3/360 version & not next gen in anyway. Both consoles seem to have a huge drop in sales figures because 150,000-250,000 units sold isn't that huge compared to last month & I expected both consoles to sell double of what they got this month.
