Why are we still allowing TC to create threads still??

1. TC is a bit of a dunce lol.
2. Personally, I expect a 7-8/10 due to the length/cost.
3. MGSV is where it's at.

It may be but has 100 times more legacy than 90% of the sites out there and is not sold out like most site like Polygon and IGN are today.

So the Xbox One version is a 2/10 given it's far worse graphics

I don't trust this review for one simple reason. One of the negatives is David Hayter not voice acting snake. Sure, its something to be upset over if your a long time fan, but if your going to hold that against the game, and mark off points on your final review just because this man isn't voicing this character, then I refuse to believe anything you have to say.

Two brief cutscenes bookend the main mission.. and that's it. I think this will be the first instance where people actually wish there were more cutscenes.

But it's not. The main mission on your first run will clock in around 2 hours. That's not counting all the side content within just that mission, or the breadth of replayability it has. Then you have even more missions after that.

I played for 5 hours and hit just over 20% completion. Most people seem to be about 30% complete after 8-10 hours.

At $20 - $30, its a short game for a budget price.

I had more fun during my 5 hours with this game than I had with the entirety of MGS4.

Surely this couldn't have cost Konami much money at all?

I admit it. I'm such an MGS fan, I'm still going to buy it.

I think MGS only matters if it's exclusive. The lack of interest the new games have shows no one really cares.

They can't even use the FF13 bs excuse of 'Xbox holding it back' because the X1 and PS4 are similar in design.

Kojima has already stated that if Ground Zeros sucks in the reviews that the Phantom Pain would be held back indefinitely to fix all the screw ups. This could be a long wait.

Oh yes I did. I have seen a whole gameshow dedicated to MGS and then there were people on how awesome that sequence was in MGS and Kojima was fucking genius for thinking like that and there is also a site mgsforums.com where practically everybody lives by the mgs series and timeless characters.

I may not be so hateful towards MGS but the way media react to it and how MGS fans hype it to the high mountains really made me hate it. I mean when all of the fanbase praises something like that and then you give it a try and it turns out to be so stupid, I feel like cheated.

They probably skipped the full nine hours of cut scenes explaining how garden gnomes where responsible for almost everything .

That´s not how you play an MGS game, the story/hallucinations of Kojima are an important ingredient !

Totally agree, and it also wouldn't surprise me if Ground Zeroes ends up being included as part of the Phantom Pain package when its released.

It's really worth it if you have a next gen console. The graphics alone need to be experienced.

I have this on the Xbox One and it looks incredible. The comparison video was blatant trolling and heavily biased towards the PS4 - as textures, lighting and framerate are the same as the PS4. The aliasing in the distance ( barbed wire/fences/grass) is very noticeable however,and is most likely from the 720p upscale.

Just like all once great PS 3rd party games, MGS has been Xbox'd.

Happened to Final Fantasy. Happened to DMC. Oh well, at least Sony still has their award winning first party games.
