Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes - 4/10 REVIEW

Any multiplat that has some sort of negativity associated with it (Tomb Raider DE, Ground Zeroes) is only on PS4 now.

Sony bribing Kojima held this game back. Instead of Kojima making gameplay better he was focused on making the PS4 version look just slight prettier. I hope he learned from this mistake on the next game.

These length complaints are strange.

Let me get this straight: MGS IV, a game that, if you're going to take total actual "gameplay" into the equation, amounted to a few hours. Through the whole game. And this was linear. All the rest was comprised of poorly edited, poorly written cutscenes that were excruciating to sit through.

Priced at $59. Score: 10s across the board.

GZ, a game that, if you're going to take gameplay into account, varies dependent on the player's choices, approach, and pacing in an open, non-linear construct. No cutscenes to suffer through. It's conducive to experimental play and various different approaches.

Priced $29. Yet is getting criticized up the ass for length. Right.

These criticisms hold zero (uh, pun intended, I guess?) weight considering the joke IV was in actual play time, and the nature of that play. I already know that GZ alone will be more of an actual game than IV ever was or will be, and I'll get more out of it. For cheaper.

Bring on tomorrow.

The game would be lucky to get above a 8 on GS.It can score anywere from a 4 to an 8 on GS and some other game review sites.

Not surprised thank god I cancelled my pre order. Just wait for The Phantom Pain.

That's what I was thinking. I cancelled my pre-order for various reasons. Price, content, Hideo dumbass comments and a bunch of other stuff that helped me to put my wallet back in my pants. I'll use the preorder money toward Infamous SS instead.

If I need to use a translator to read a review, I don't give a shit what they have to say. I've never ever heard of that site and nor do I want to. Anyways only place I go for reviews are Gamespot and Angry Joe on Youtube, been a long time since I've played a crappy game thanks to them.

Snake Eater is an amazing AAA, but not as good.

Metal Gear Solid 4 was great when it came out, but it's hardly best game ever material.

In fact, the original Snake Eater technically wasn't AAA.

Bravely Default demo had what...15 hours of play in it?

We all get that the game is short but the times people are throwing around are a little nutty. 30 mins, an hour, two hours, one review said all the content gave her about 8 hours worth of playtime from the game.

Can we get a consistent time on this thing?
