Funny thing about that game is we don't know what that was running on(obviously a PC, but I mean it could be equivalent to what a Pro will look like or a PS5 since no release date yet). Either way, that game is gonna look awesome. Gonna laugh when the base PS4 runs it almost as well as the demo also ?

Really poor apology. He only said two words and called it bad wording and offered no explanation on what he intended to say. He should have just said "I apologize for my comment as it was in poor taste."
Even if the final product is slightly downgraded it won't be downgraded that much and ND at their worst is most other companies at their best.
? TLOU 2 has fanboys and devs from less talented studios shook. Gonna be hilarious when this game comes out and wins all the awards for animation and graphics on top of multiple GOTY awards.
I'll echo that it's scripted. Looks good but it will play different. The same thing happened with the first game. The enemies reacted a specific way in their showcase of TLOU but when the game released it was a different outcome.

Sony's 1st party developers KNOW how to work around the PS4 hardware. They literally MILK out every drop for what the console can do.
The work they put in for that kiss blew peoples mind to hell and back. I mean, for a game it was spot on and with all the romance in gaming, i dont think i've seen something matching that. My opinion. But let 'emm hate or joke, whichever it was.

That could help explain the graphics but if it's actually ps4 pro when it actually launches and graphics are actually like that I'll be amazed. Hopefully they can nail a 60fps? At least in multiplayer.
This and the halo infinity engine demo in 4K really had me amazed at how good games will be. And don't even forget that field in ghosts of tsushima!

Games in general look so freaking great. It amazes me people still dwell on graphics. At this point the difference between triple A games are marginal. Even mid budget games looks amazing.

PS5 doesn't exist. It would be a PC at this point. The game doesn't need to be running on next gen systems to look like that. ND, and game developers in general, always improves their engines as time goes by in the gen. Surprisingly, the graphics are not what had me at awe. It was the AI. They're very smart and they're not static. By that I mean their numbers can increase at any point. Notice the chase into the grass. Normally you'd just deal with the ones you were running from until you reach a new area with new targets. But all of a suddenly it goes from 2v1 to 4v1 to 5v1. Then at the end in the store it was 3v1 doing a sweep. Halfway through a fourth shows up, making it harder for Ellie to sneak her way out without confrontation. I'm sure running away from clickers is going to play differently. They probably won't search under vehicles like human AI do.
The animations are also super fluid. The way you can pick things up and throw them at people while running is something I plan on doing a lot.
Of course it's possible that the AI looks so smart because it's a scripted demo, but the AI from the original were also very smart on the higher difficulties.
@Zero_epyon: see I really hope the ai isn't scripted. I really hope ND can blow me away.
Their abilities are not. I fully expect them to search under vehicles, communicate with each other efficiently and react to the player in smart ways. I remember the original demo for PS3 when Joel ran out of ammo while shooting. The AI heard it and yelled out, "I know what that means!" and started moving in quicker. They actually did that in the game, calling out that Joel was out to other AI and they started rushing. Looks like we're going to have less escorting too, so that might make it more immersive than the first.
