Assassin's Creed Unity Sneak Peak

Seems that the leak of that alpha bulid of Assassin's Creed Unity has prompted the devs to release a very short sneak peak.

Gorgeous graphics but there is no indication that it's in-game. It could be running on their new Snowdrop Engine developed by Massive for Ubi, which means these visuals could be accurate.

Anyways the setting is clearly Paris and it will be out this year. I expect more info around E3.

They should make an assassin's creed game, where you can control a computer hacker and you can drive around the cities. It must also have a person of interest vibe and it must have ugly last gen graphics

I'll probably skip this year. Black Flag was solid but man am I getting sick of this series wish they would give it a much needed break

Seems it will be in full 1080p.

City streets seem more open with more buildings thrown in for parkour. Something that was lacking in Black Flags.

Count me in if they drop that boring naval gameplay from AC4 and refine the combat some more. TC, hopefully they are using the Snowdrop engine or UE4 and not a "heavily modified" version of UE3. It would make sense to use Snowdrop since it's an in house engine.

The first AC trailer wasn't in game by their own admission though, iirc.

I'm wondering if this is going to use the Snowdrop Engine. The title "Unity" could mean they are using the Unity engine but that doesn't make any sense since Ubi has pumped so much time and money into the Snowdrop Engine for their future games.

Then AC2 came along.

No Wii U version, so it looks like I'll be getting this one on PC.

And that's a big if. I don't think Blag Flag sold all that well, but with the lack of DLC support, I don't think Ubisoft believed in it. It's a shame. I really like playing AC on my Wii U with the map and HUD on the lower screen. Plus, there's a big difference in my electric bill if I use the Wii U instead of my PC.

With the first Assassin's Creed. The original footage looked better than the final game. I don't think they ever did it after that.

Waiting for the one set in India during the British Raj. Perhaps next year.

I'm going to do what Ubi should do and give this series a 2 year break.

Rumour is the game will feature co-op and in that light I think it's a bit clever.

Co-op would be a fantastic addition to the series.
