3DS - a generation behind Vita.

Generation, shmeneration. Wii games, while they may not have been as good graphically as other systems, still were just as entertaining as ever. I enjoyed Super Mario galaxy 2 and Skyward Sword more than certain 360 games, despite not as good graphics.Does the Vita have better graphics than the 3DS? Obviously. Does that make it better or worse than the 3DS? lolno.

That plus I don't really look at generations in gaming as "how much more pretty are the graphics as opposed to last gen?" but as "what new ideas and concepts are companies bringing forward this time as opposed to last gen?" So in that sense saying the 3DS is behind a generation makes no sense whatsoever.

Because Nintendo has been a great developer for 30 years now. You don't need flashy hardware if your games make the competition look like they are just trying to appeal to the hardcore crowd by having the "shiny things" (going by gameplay and how well the games are made, not opinions on who the games appeal to, meaning the "kiddie" and "milked" excuses).

While the Vita is more powerful and better in certain ways, the 3DS has its pros, such as dual screen. Bottom line though is that it all comes down to games. In this category 3DS dominates (for me anyway) so far.

I have no clue why people bought nintendo handhelds before the advance sp, you couldn't even see anything half the time, you needed to have light hit the screen just right.

I bought the gameboy pocket simply because I could sneak it into class and play it, but most of the time I couldn't see what was going on.

I have no clue why people bought nintendo handhelds before the advance sp, you couldn't even see anything half the time, you needed to have light hit the screen just right.

I bought the gameboy pocket simply because I could sneak it into class and play it, but most of the time I couldn't see what was going on.

After seeing the disaster that was Metal Gear Solid 3DS...I would venture to say that the 3DS is more than a gen behind Vita.ispeakfact

i hav both, and 3ds is better than vita. vita cannot catch up with 3ds current games.

tho the vita is an amazing system but there is alot of lag in it games, im guessing it like the ps3 where the programing for it is hard because even a game like plants vs zombies lag ALOT when playing survivor mode
