Also this sorta has nothing to do with the thread but you guys seem to know these things pretty well, how and why do I format my memory card, I have the 1GB card and if I should format it how??? Thanks!! and I asked this before does any1 have any idea on how u can take music from Itunes and put it on your PSP, I just ask because I she paid for the song, so can I then send it to my psp??? Dose anyone know what firmware version the psp's in stores are? I got a 2.6 psp and a warranty with best buy so i could exchange it since i want one thats 2.0, since 2.0 uh ends in a 0? Yeah thats it, I like things that end in a 0
Kind of a new question here, sorry if this was asked already.
Clearly if I buy a new PSP, the firmware is updated already to the latest - however. My friend has a PSP with the old firmware, and was afraid her warrany would be voided if she updated it. This would be a US PSP upgrading to the latest US PSP firmware. I know it's a dumb question, but if anyone that knows the official Sony answer could respond I would be very appreciative. I think that she just read something saying if you change or hack your firmware in anyway it voids, but this was before the upgrade was released, and I'm thinking of getting a used one so in the event I do would like to make sure that I can save any warranty it may still have.
Thanks!

I am a n00b, but I need help. After i downloaded the firmware 2.6 onto the psp, I tried to access it under the memory stick file. It loaded at first, but then stopped and said"the game could be started.(80020148 ). Please help me if you have any info.konohanin
I did all of that. The same thing happened a couple months back, when I tried to update to 2.0. I eventually updated when I bought Madden 06 and GTA:LCS.konohanin

I should have posted here first, but anyways. Yeah im sure a lot of people are wanting to know how to do this. I'm currently on firmware 2.00 and don't want to update to 2.60 for Street Fighter Alpha. Ive tried using PSPSetX program with the eLoader (Fanjita) latest version, but I can only set my firmware - well for the PSP to think it is - to 2.50 as a maximum. I know this is the way people can play games that require 2.50 firmware on version 2.00. Any help would be appreciated :).
