When I'm in a relationship I lock my partner away from other people to ensure that they don't meet anybody better than me. I expect other people to do the same.

I had a "friend" once in highschool who did this all the time. I seen him do it to one friend, and that guy stopped hanging out with us. I still hung out with both but it was hard at times if we both went to the same place one would be like "why are you hanging out with him." And get all pissed off. Then he did it with me. Thing was my GF told him to f-off and told me. Then I introduced him to my fist a couple of times.
