Its odd that shes now 23 and finally releasing this video...I've had enough of the abuse well then your past 18 thats when you leave it seems at this point its just a revenge scenario and I personally condone the whipping of a child when they dont follow the rules or are bad.

As well one has to question how and why is this on video tape?
Note: Its admitted in the description the girl was caught pirating games and music and this is why she was beaten...It also says in the description the man in question is backwards and anti technology...yet he has a computer in the house and possibly a webcam and or video camera in the house that was used to record this...
Note 2: It also says in the description the wife should not be blamed that she was somehow manipulated through abuse her self to abuse her daughter but you can see in the video the mother just keeps hitting the child long after the father leaves the room...

And these are the people allowed to judge others on their family interactions? I've gotten the belt before, but it wasn't a beating. It was a smack or two and that was it, not repeated hitting. You know, one thing I learned from getting beat is that beating people is wrong, and I won't do it to my kids if I ever have them. There's other ways to teach discipline.

Doesn't bother me. I got paddled as a kid. My girlfriend tells me that people who are paddled as children are more likely to grow up and be perverts, and that works pretty well for us.

Two reasons.

As a small child, nobody (except the parents in some cases) will be looking at the child's ass.
It's a padded area that absorbs most shock and recovers quickly.

Last time my mother slapped my face I almost stabbed her with a fork. In a situation like that girl had I would have probably had a VERY violent reaction.

This is why you beat your parents when you become an adult.

I dont mind discipline, but there's hundreds of ways to punish a child/teen without ever hurting them in any way. That is abuse, and if you say you've been through similar or worse, then you have gone through child abuse. Plain and simple.

Exactly. I am so thankful that my parents were never like this. They never hit me. The worst thing that's ever happened was when my mom grabbed me. And to be quite honest, I was being a jerk and deserved it for talking to her like I was. Haven't talked to her like that since. My parents always took a different approach to things. For example, since I'm driving soon, my dad told me that if my friends and I ever drink or something and need rides or somewhere to stay, to call him. He'd much rather have to come pick us up, drunk, then have one of us drive and kill everyone in the car. And yet, I've never done any drug or tried drinking. They never said don't do this or don't do that. And I never went through a rebellious phase. My parents never gave me a reason to. I appreciate my parents so much when I see something like this.

Anyways, that is flat out abuse. You should never hit your kids like that, or anyone for that matter. I don't even know how you could bring yourself to hit your kid like that. Especially a girl. It is just so awful.

and, yeah she's a young woman now, and this vid is from years ago. this may be because she's now old enough, and feels stong/ready enough to reveal her abusive childhood and expose her father and she's ready to deal with all the consequences. just speculation.

could be partially due to the fact that she is handicapped, ya know.
