@Big_Red_Button: It's slow because real twitch shooters don't work as multiplats. Controllers take an age to turn and aim precisely.I'm still hopeful that this can be made to work, but they'd need to ...

  • jimmyjammer69 posted a message in the forum topic Your the new President of Nintendo. How do you fix it?. on the System Wars board

    1. I'd stop focusing so much on Japanese hardware trends. They don't usually translate well to other markets.2. I'd ease up on the old IP milking. Constant spin-offs are rapidly depleting Nintendo's k...

The Ministry of Broken Dreams and Hurt Feelings. Honestly, with Steam refunds being so easy now, it's not a big issue - the studios are just wasting their own time and money releasing in this state.

That's unrealistic and they know it. Maybe this was always meant to be an episodic thing, but they didn't want to put backers off.

Sure sounds good. Sell the base unit and play your old games without having to swap cables constantly. How could that be a bad thing?

  • jimmyjammer69 posted a message in the forum topic Sony Responds to Xbox One Backward Compatibility. on the System Wars board

Sony can't afford to do it. I mean, they're already asking customers to fund the development of upcoming titles - not that that's an inherently bad thing... just kind of telling.

Is it only since Metacritic that people have been throwing hissy fits when all reviews aren't identical? A 7 is pretty good. Read around a bit if you're not sure and make your own mind up.
