Actresses that Go Nude on Film or Have (Accidentally) Shown Their Privates

What do you think of actresses that have gone nude, semi-nude (topless), or have shown their private parts on film? What about those that have shown their private parts in public as a result of dressing scantily and suffering a subsequent wardrobe malfunction? What I'm referring to in regard to the latter situation are cases in which an actress attends a public event in a skimpy dress while wearing no bra or panties, and because they (accidentally) position themselves a certain way, the world gets a full blown shot of their privates. Do you consider these actresses trashy/ classless? Do you lose respect for them when these things happen? For me, it depends on the frequency at which they go nude on film and/ or the extent of the nudity in a particular shot. For example, though I admire Anne Hathaway's acting ability, I think she's shown her boobs far too often on film. [spoiler] In "Havoc" (2005) she acted out a sex scene in which her boobs were visible, and in"Love and Other Drugs" she acted out a scene in which she pulls out one of her breasts and has it examined by a doctor (the manner in which it was done was very gratuitous). [/spoiler] In addition to these two scenes, she recently suffered a wardrobe malfunction in which her crotch was revealed to the world because she made the conscious choice to not wear panties. In light of these incidents, I think that Anne Hathaway is trashy, though still a good actress.

I'm indifferent in that I don't think their behavior is worthy of moral praise or blame. However, I personally do appreciate them for obvious reasons.

There's an actress by the name of Piper Perabo, whom I first saw in "The Prestige". I found the character she played in that film to be quite likeable; she portrayed the character - beautiful and sexy - without being trashy. However, in "Looper" she plays a showgirl and goes practically fullblown nude. I liked the shot, but lost respect for her. Shame. By the way, "Looper" is a good film. Check it out.

I should say one thing though. in one mainstream film there is one scene that has still stuck with me as vey out of place. That is from the movie Munich. where the lead is having sex with his wife, and they keep flashing back to the failed hostage rescue attempt at the airport in Germany while he's in the middle of intercourse. That didn't match at all. and it still struck as really wrong to have done that.

the only like thing is between those two would excitement/adrenaline, but those are two very different events and the feelings that come from those events.

If it's important to the story, why not? Nudity shouldn't be such a taboo. I'm not saying that I want to see naughty bits out on the street, but it's not such a big deal on TV and on film.

In movies its absolutely fine, I don't think less of the person because in a lot of cases the nudity fits the movie and why the hell would I be bothered by someone showing off something completely natural?

In real life obviously the person should try to keep themselves covered, but if something happens and others can see the boobs or the crotch then that sucks for them. I'm not gonna think less of a person for not wearing a bra or undergarments all the time, because there are times when I don't even bother with wearing boxers (which have little support at all to begin with) in the summer...

Sometimes I wonder what does an actor think when he's offered a full frontal or unsimulated sex scene. It's a potential career destroyer. Or it makes a star out of someone.

F*cking Spielberg. Munich has some well-done nudity scenes (including male nudity) but that scene... I get what it was aiming for but it was awful.

It doesn't bother me, nudity that is, but I generally can't take a woman seriously who can't do anything besides sell sex.

There is hardly any nudity or simulating sex scenes in recent movies. Most of recent actresses hardly go nude in movies.

You should see Madonna's Body of Evidence, Demi Moores Indecent Proposal, Sharon Stones Basic Instinct. Majority of actresses from 70's, 80's and 90's really loved doing nude or love making scenes with a passion.

There's nothing wrong with art and showing your body, but woman seem to be required to do it far more than men in the movies.
