Worst Wii game everyone has...

What, in your opinion, is the game that everyone seems to have but you think is awful (or at least not as good as everyone says)?

For me its MP3. I thought it was a desolate game with a weak story. Good grahics and gameplay couldn't save it for me. Still, everyone seems to love it.

Zelda or Smash Bros

Zelda is a Gamecube game though so you have to lean towards Smash Bros

Either Link's Crossbow Training or Wii Sports.

Worst full priced game would have to be No More Heroes.

I played it for 58 minutes, finished it, haven't played it again.

Can people please put reasons why they didn't like it? I'm interested to know, because a number of the games mentioned I really love and want to know what flaws you found and thought were deal-breaking.

For me it was Super Mario Galaxy. Well-made, but like all mario games, I find, it tends to be frustrating. Not because of the boss fights, which are really not difficult, but because of bouncing off ledges or dying when you're almost finished, and often, you have to restart the level from scratch. For me, the game would be vastly improved if it allowed you to save when you like, or at least had more sensible checkpoints. Plus, the story-line didn't really captivate me, to put it mildly...

I can understand why you wouldn't like those parts, but their the core of a platformer. Barely missing a ledge and starting the level over is a frustrating but authentic platformer element. For better or worse.

I love platformers. Platformers that allow you to save. ;) It may be authentic for old-school console platformers, but not, to my recollection, computer platformers and modern console platformers that took a page out of the computer plat's book.

Worst game that everyone liked: PES 2008. I didn't really like the controls and I guess I wasn't into the genre to begin with.

I think the thread starter just meant to address this thread to everyone, rather than meaning you can only talk about games that everyone owns (which is impossible, as not everyone owns even the most popular game.) It's like saying "so what do you all think about the games that you all own?" Meaning, what does each of you think about the games that you all own, respectively.

MP3, I don't know why, maybe its because the game has a lot more puzzles/walking than fighting, and I was expecting a little more FPS.

SSBB was another one I was disappointed in. I was expecting lots of cool, new characters. What I got was a game with all of the characters in SSBM but reskinned to look like someone else. (There are obvious exceptions, like Snake.)

I don't own any of the games you've all listed so far (guess that's a good thing!) except Twilight Princess, and I have to strongly disagree. I absolutely love that game. I also disagree with whoever said Galaxy -- that, in my opinion, is an amazing game.

Other than that, I also own Mario Party 8. It's fun, but not unless you have people to play it with. So I don't play it too often.

Although Mario Kart sort of comes to mind. But then again, I've never really liked Mario Kart games.

Lol so much hate for Wii play. But you all have to admit that the tank mini game in Wii Play was superb :D I don't know why...but I really enjoyed that mini game...Durhamster

True. The target shooter was decent until Link's crossbow training came out and pwned it...but there is cow racing...I don't think anyone can top that

Ireally enjoy all videogames for one reason or another.

The worst one out of all the one's I like is Excite Truck.

But it is still great like Gamespot.
