The Super Smash Bros. Roster Maker (Version 4.0 available)

Well, there are tons of people who make rosters. And now, instead of using an image editor (like Paint or Gimp) to put it together tediously, they can use my program!

As for the characters, there'll be more later on. But for now, there is also an option to add your own images to the Maker.

You mean adding your own images? If so, there is an "Instructions" file included in the archive, I recommend taking a look at it. It's related to the "Reboot data" button.

Yeah, Rare was perfect with Nintendo. I bet some of their characters (Banjo, Conker, etc.) would have been in Brawl if it weren't for the buyout. And probably Dixie, King K. Rool and other related Donkey Kong stuff Nintendo has been ignoring.

OMG, those are perfect! I'll be sure to include them in later versions of my Maker. Could you just tell me from which game do they originate from? I know Lloyd and Viewtiful Joe, but I'm not too sure about the rest. It would be great if you could make more of them, although it's up to you.

Cynthia is the Sinnoh Champion in Pokemon Diamond, Aeron is the main character of Pandora's Tower, (Which completes the Operation Rainfall three) Little King is from Wii exclusive Little King's Story, and Kalas is the Main character of the Gamecube exclusive RPG Baten Kaitos.

Pulse Man is from a japanese only game (Though it is available on the VC as an import!) for the Sega Genesis developed by Gamefreak before they made Pokemon. :D Anyways if I make any more I'll be sure to post them here. :)

They have Kanto and Hoenn trainers listed so why not Johto, Sinnoh, and Unova trainers?

I don't make images. I took them from Oasis_S:http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=317568, but he said he won't be making any images new images until next month or so. So I can't thank you enough for making some. He will have less work to do now.

And lol, I doubt I'll add Miyamoto in the Maker, but I'll keep the image nonetheless.

I'm really liking the program so far.

Though the only three 3rd Party characters I ever use are Pulseman, KOS-MOS, and Kalas.

I tend to only include 3rd Party characters if they were made when a developer Nintendo owns or partially owns was 3rd Party.

I was thinking of a couple more characters.

Interesting roster... to say the least.

This is my roster so far. I know it will change (When they add the characters from my previous post) but I'm trying to get characters I like and have only 48 characters [I think the next one will have 48 characters based on the previous games (N64: 12, Melee: 24, Brawl: 36, Wii U/3DS: 48)]

Ahw I forgot about Golden Sun. I'm going to have to see if I can fit a character from the series onto my roster.

If I don't do realisted limitations then I will beable to fit every single character I want on my roster.

I think you cut too many characters in your roster. Also, I would say having between 50-55 characters is still realistic.

Here are some more characters I would like you to do when you have some free time:

Mario: King Boo, Toadsworth, Toadette

Donkey Kong: Klump, Candy Kong, Wrinkly Kong, Swanky Kong

Third Party: Rayman, Spyro (the Dragon), Crash Bandicoot and Conker

I updated my first post. I'd also like to have more feedback if possible.

I'm working on the third version right now. It should be ready in two or three weeks, and there should be a bunch of new character icons by then.

Could someone please make these into icons for the roster? I would be very thankful! I tried picking Pokemon types that haven't been in a Smash Bros game before (Dragon, Ice, Dark). The fact that Tyranitar is also part Rock, and Garchomp being part Ground type make them even more unique for Smash Bros.

Kyurem. Since this Pokemon is not only Dragon/Ice, but also very important in Black 2/White 2, it would be a good add.

I'll take note of these. If nobody else makes them, then I'll probably ask Oasis_S (the one who made all the current icons in the SSB Roster Maker) to do them, although he already has a lot of requests, so it might take quite a while.

Thank you! I've got over 100 downloads already for the second version, but I'm still not entirely satisfied, as I was expecting even more. Maybe I'm being unrealistic but anyway. So yeah, I'm trying to spread it as much as possible across the Internet. I'll also probably do a youtube video when I'll upload the third version. It's shaping up quite nicely so far, even though I don't have much time to put a lot of work into it lately.

I'm assuming you have gone on other chat boards to spread the word? What do you plan on adding into the third version?

Well, I currently only have a thread here and on Smashboards. I mentioned it in the Super Smash Bros. thread on Nintendo Life too. Some people seem interested, but not everyone though.

There are several new features that will be introduced in the third version, but as usual, I'm keeping most of it secret until I release it.
