Have had no problems, nor has my brother who just purchased the NES 3DS just for playing Smash.

I sympathize, considering my own Circle Pad is much looser than it was when I bought the game, but how in the world would the D-pad actually work for movement? It's not a one-movement-speed kind of game. The analog control is kind of necessary ...

Also, the 3DS D-pad kinda sucks anyway. I'm not sure if others have had this experience, but mine is chipped from very minimal use. (I have a launch 3DS, for the record.)

Hmm. I have been playing the devil out of this game on my original 3DS, and it's in tip-top shape. Gotta treat that slider like a porcelain: delicately.
