I have mixed feelings. On one hand, I am glad console gamers can get a taste of the awesomeness that is Crysis. It's clear they've found new ways to optimize the code so that it still looks good on a console, though I'm sure when I see it that it'll seem dumbed down. OTOH, Crysis 1 was built to utilize the full power of a top end PC for the time. It was absolutely beautiful. If they did that again, I wonder what they'd make. I have 480s in my system, and I wish Crysis 2 would put them through the ropes. Alas.

At least we're gonna see what the consoles are made of with this game. Heres to the unfortunate start of more fanboy wars "facepalm" :/

Game looks good. I'm sure a lot of people out there are happy that you don't have to have a monster computer to run this game smoothly. Kinda sucked that the first one required people to go out and buy a whole new PC or put in a lot of upgrading. That's the one drawback to PC gaming: it's a much bigger investment. Or at least was. Hopefully other companies will follow suit. Say what you will about console gaming, but having a set of parameters for development helps ensure that everyone (who has a console that supports the game) can play without any extra requirements and that everyone across the board will have the same gaming experience.

Looks really good so far. But I will miss the jungle environments of crysis 1 they were amazing.

killzone 3 multiplayer vs. Crysis 2 multiplayer = no conclusion. but personally id definitely have to say killzone 3 (my opinion of course) but im still getting this. and people talking bout other people not being able to kick the cod titles but i easily quit mw2 it doesnt take nearly as much skill as the others (like killzone 2)

xXTH4k00LXx 5 pts

im glad this isnt a brink interview becuz that dude has the annoyingest voice ever

Krinnium 5 pts

ha and people worry too much about graphics. seriously. people looked at the trailers for this and were legitimately disappointed. maybe im missing something, but those look damn good and id rather have a dev team focus more on game play elements than amazing visuals.

Krinnium 5 pts

hell yeah. timespllitters was the bomb

dllabill 5 pts

too bad no one will break away from call of duties leaving multi player almost empty...and they also said combline other shooters with what they got....so destrucable enviroments? i would like to throw a grenade at a wall and have it do its job (sum1 hideing) and not just leave a black mark lol

jakethesnake159 5 pts

this game looks awesome, i like the fact that they seem to be putting alot of work into all the systems!

pidow 8 pts

I have to play this game period.

TommyT456 6 pts

@TheVGamer What are you talking about? It would be a problem if it looked amazing but didn't play very well or was boring. You're actually complaining because it delivers on all fronts, makes no sense :\

TommyT456 6 pts

never played the 1st game as never been a PC gamer but have been gagging for this since the initial announcement. Looks incredible and is great to hear the guys who made timesplitters are working on it :)

NightPheonix117 5 pts

I think this game will be mighty cold!

jackbananas 5 pts

crysis was my is my favorite game. saying ive been looking forword to this is such an understatement. but i would like to see some pc gameplay now

TheVGamer 5 pts

I know why this game will fail. There will be too much action to enjoy visuals, game's main strength. I'll believe it when I play it.

maazbazmi 6 pts

YAAAYY i Dont need to upgrade my pc :)

@ ckynick254 did you not listen to what he said?

gibb1 5 pts

definitely buying this!! looks amazing.

mrbrainheart 5 pts

you can see some of the multiplayer action on their site (mycrysis.co) looks real good, much better then the first one in any case

wastinnaziscum 6 pts

gonna b a lot of depth to this shooter

Agent_StarFire 11 pts

Hmmm looking at the end of the video it may hint at the island turning into a grass overed jungle....woot

ckynick254 5 pts

It will still need a good computer to play. I dont know if i would use my pc or xbox

twill3tts 5 pts

It looks really good, but I still don't see it taking on COD multiplayer. With COD being so familiar, any new game or mechanic is gonna struggle. Guess time will tell.

grgcucu 9 pts

lol... I saw an iPhone ad on the wall in that Central Station level.

samnov 5 pts

Is multiplayer also for consoles?

zanelli 5 pts

It's looking good, though I wish they'd have put some of the multiplayer footage in this.
