Apocalypse Wow! What Games Taught Us About the End of the World
Zombies? Nuclear holocaust? The Rapture? No matter how the world ends, video games have the tips to ensure you survive.
Giant asteroid would probably fall under climate change when the debris blocks out the sun and causes an ice age similar to BF 2142 /nerd
I always thought the changes between 1 and 2 was very awkard and not good for the franchise, but Insomniac redemed themselves with R3, which was an AWESOME game! They should let the resistance series rest, they ended well with R3, i would hate to see someone try and bring it back and ruin it.
Still searching for Dead of the Dead Dead... Did you guys find the game? xD ... ... ... ... i guess i got trolled BY A VIDEO!!!!
Who else thinks the apocalypse will be upon us because of people obsessing and going nuts over the apocalypse? Sorry guys the world's not going anywhere anytime soon, but we probably are. :P
The guy talking at 0:35 seriously needs to learn that deliberately getting stuff wrong isn't funny, just disrespectful to those with Meso American heritage. (I don't myself btw)
"Dead of the Dead Dead" Now that is a game title that gets my attention!!! Anyways if the world is going to end in 2012 then i think the most likely is either Nuclear War or an Asteroid strike!
my choice would be the zombie epidemic. lets just say i have prepared myself well over the past couple years
this is funny but i think lots of people will be disapointed the world isnt ending soon so put that shotgun and rad resistan suit back it the closet lol
Our civilization might get 'destroyed' (wich I doubt, even tough it's theoretically easy). However the world will just go on as it had for the billions of years we didn't exist. Don't believe we are that special in the multiverse we just happen to live in with a questionable end.
Just wanted to post a new thread on OT. "What's up with all these apocalyptic stuff?" I'm serious now.. Companies makes money from games like The Last of Us or I Am Alive... These makes me siiick sick sickO!
If we don't destroy ourselves, then eventually an asteroid will strike Earth, and the probability of it happening is actually not on our side. But IF by small chance an asteroid doesn't hit Earth, then in 4-5 billion years time our Solar System [as we know it] will cease to exist after the Sun explodes/expands to 1 billion times its own size and stretches almost as far as Jupiter, incinerating everything preceding Jupiter. But IF by an even smaller chance we move to another Solar System which has an Earth-like planet; we would delay our extinction only slightly. For in roughly the same time our Sun dies, the Andromeda Galaxy (visible to the naked eye and in collision course with our galaxy) will have collided with the Milky Way, causing havoc on an immeasurable scale. But IF by the tiniest chance we're able to move to another galaxy and continue the other steps of star hopping to other systems and avoiding all manner of adversities; we'll only be doing it until the eventual heat death of the universe. Where every atom in the universe will be torn apart and the Universe itself will cease to exist. There, I just put you back into reality after that video!
Could always use Holy Materia to save us from an asteroid, though getting the life stream to get off it's lazy ass and help may be a little more difficult.
i will tell you something about why the miyan(dont know how to spell them, lol) calender ends in december 21st 2012 . THEN IT STARTS AGAIN. just like we have a millennium. they have whats called a "long count" which lasts 5125 years. they fifth count is then over and then begginns the "new age" or the "golden age" there has been 5 past ages, but it is also to have said that each long count brings a natural disaster, which kills many and makes other rebuild a soceity from scratch, thats what everyone is afraid of and that is where the theory comes in :D im sorry of the bad grammer/spelling somewhere, im just REALLY lazy right now.......
@Devils-DIVISION we to have google give it a rest smart ass
