Jumping Mario is back for a 3d adventure! Platforming with the Tanooki suit never felt so great.

User Rating: 8.5 | Super Mario 3D Land 3DS
Mario's 3D Land is very different from many of the 2D side scrolling adventures he has. Bowser has stolen Peach more times then I can count, this time in 3D. Many of the levels are filled with nostalgic memories of his past installments. Playing the game is a joy, with the music and enemies dancing along the tunes. The enemies also get Tanooki Leaf upgrades because Bowser messed with the Tanooki Leaf Tree. It seems like Super Mario 64 meets Super Mario Bros. You don't have to collect stars, but in order to advance you have to reach the top of the flagpole. The Tanooki suit will turn you into stone eventually. Nintendo provides another solid Mario experience with the 3DS launch. Of course, what would the 3DS be without one? Buy the game and play to find out! Many levels await and princesses in other castles!
