Let me start off by saying star wars battlefront 2 was a hit on all platforms, but the psp version had some major flaws. Well now Renegade Squadron is here. Renegade Squadron puts you in the role of a soldier in Han Solo's elite team of soldiers called Renegade Squadron. You are bent on kicking some empire @$$ with your soldier who is fully customizable. You can customize your colors features, and weapons so you can become the soldier you want. This time around the game has an actual campaign and it makes sense. There are many objectives and there is a great variety. You don't just land on planets and take them over. You may need to hold off a command post from a fleet of empire walkers or get your injured conrad a med kit. There is plenty to do. If you were a fan of the galactic conquest then you'll be happy to find out that it's still here if you want. The game also still has instant action, but the main attraction is the campaign. The other great thing about this game is the multiplayer. It is a blast! You can team up and do objectives or just play standard conquest or CTF. The multiplayer is a really nice addition to the campaign and adds a ton of value to the game. This game is not without it's flaws. The controls still aren't the greatest even though they are better than the psp version of battlefront 2. Also every mission gives you the same weapons which is pretty annoying. I also didn't really find the instant action or galactic conquest to be that satisfying compared to the online and campaign. All in all renegade squadron is a great game that any psp owner should check out. It's a great star wars adventure.
