As much as I hate console fanboys, we have to thank these guys. It created intense competition with a lot of drama that pushes companies to try to outdo each other. Without these, X1X won't be as prestige today - even outdoing a PC built on price to power ratio. by a lot. Soon, Sony will have to follow if they want to be in the market to prevent fanboys from ripping them apart which is bad publicity. Mean while, X1X is getting good publicity from its supporters. While these sheeps fight, I'm just here to enjoy and relax what the next gaming gen have to offer.
Few years ago, the best features about the game is showcasing their sandbox feature. More freedom, more things to do, etc... I think these coming games that are going to be popular are the ones that have very strong story driven feature. Gamers starting to realize, to much option or things to do in a game end up becoming boring and a 'chore'- thus leading them to do them anyways. It's not about the biggest map, or the most things to do in a game, it's about providing the best engaging story and connection to the character. I think this would be the highlights of what great games be in this coming years.
They should update the weapon system. I don't like how weapons and shields break so easily. SPOILER: Even the f***in' Master sword breaks, that some pure BS to be honest. It ruins a sense of ownership and connection to your equipment that you just found on some crazy hard place to find. I think it would really be better if they just remove that bs or have an option to turn it off. If they really want item wear features then at least make them last longer or have some sort of blacksmith/items that repairs your weapons and shield.
