If they get rid of an actual controller, I think this console will die. Gamers love to have a solid controller in their hands, and replacing it with Kinect might be a huge disaster even if Kinect works for most games. Everyone always wants a controller to go back to at the end of the day.
Omg, I couldn't give a crap if the ps3 version was worse, the game plays fine. Thank you Cam for standing up for the ps3 and not saying we were "lumbered".
Ok now that I've played and beaten the game I have come to love this reboot. It makes so much sense how everything comes together towards the end. I don't wanna spoil it for anybody, but you if you have complaints about dante's hair, the whole colorful Limbo feel of the game, you can rest easy because it all makes sense and resolves all of those isuues at the end. I loved the ending and how it could lead to a sequel that would revive the DMC series and feel like how DMC used to feel. The ending of this game tells how Dante is born, and why he creates his Devil May Cry business. It's the perfect reboot and I prefer this over DMC3.
I had my doubts when I was playing the game, but the character of Dante really grew on me and the ending definitely resolves any issues I had with Dante or the world of DMC. Also, this is an origins story, so Dante is supposed to be young, and cocky just like he was in DMC3. In fact, he is less annoying in this version than he was in DMC3.
Good job Ninja Theory. I really hope the franchise doesn't end with this game and I hope you guys create a sequel because I know it will be exactly what everyone was and is looking for.
Also read the very first sentence, "Sony has researched and patented new technology that could be implemented to block used games" Emphasis on the word COULD. This doesn't mean it has already been done or will be done, it's just something that COULD be done.
Well I only buy new games anyway, so I have no problem with this. But I don't think it will pass anyway because Sony doesn't want to lose console sales in the future and doing something like this will inevitably destroy their gaming industry and I doubt they want that to happen. I'm sure Sony will come up with another alternative to this solution. So you can all relax people, this won't last :)
