I can't help but notice a significant difference. For example, the Pre-E3 trailer's (bottom) car model is much more detailed than the E3 demo, which looks really flat. Also, notice the lighting, especially on the buildings and street. Overall, the Pre-E3 trailer is much better lit, and looks much more impressive. But I know it's just an E3 build, so I'm remaining cautiously optimistic and hoping that HVS will be able to pull of visuals like the trailer on the final product. This thread is stupid. If the Wii is for Children and Grandmothers, then why where these games, that you listed, released on it?

You fail hard.

Who do they think is going to be watching? The casuals? :lol:SSCyborg
Actually, yes. E3 makes it on CNN, Fox, NBC and the like.

Even though this has been said several times, most people don't get that it's E3 that has changed, not the companies. Sometimes even the journalists look past this fact.

[QUOTE="zeldarooles"]Last I checked games were about having fun. Wait, they're not? What are they for then? Ah yes, how many gigaFLOPs and pixels and polygons you have.Samurai_Xavier

Well, you go play with action figures and yugioh cards, im sure theyre fun as well.

Ad hominem attacks won't work on me sir. I never actually said that Wii Music was fun. If you recall, all I responded to was his implication that video games are not supposed to be fun. Here, I'll quote it.

I seriously cant believe how anyone would be hyped for this game. Im 18 years old, sure, I have some growing up to do, but I just cant see a grown adult buying this game for themselves and enjoying it for more than an hour. I think this is a game that only kids can enjoy.

My main problem with the game is that it pretty much requires no skill. Its all about "OMG having fun!!!!!1!!"

I can see the countless sheep coming into the thread saying how insecure I am, and how playing games with guns =/= being mature, and how much fun the game looks. But seriously, anyone?

PS: I made this thread because I am kind of curious of what sheep think of the game, I havent seen a single thread about this game, only being mentioned on other threads.

Just defending the concept of video games actually being, you know, fun. I wonder where that all went.

Yeah, but when you said that, you were obviously reffering to Wii Music. If you werent, then what was the point of posting what you posted on this thread about Wii Music?

Because he brought up something I disagreed with, the concept that games should be more about graphics and less about fun and gameplay.

My local news had some story on E3 and all they talked about was the Wii and it's cheap, gimmicky lineup. Also, Fox News keeps running a story about E3 and all they talk about is the new Wii Sports. They don't even mention the Microsoft and Sony conferences, both of which were much better. It's unbelievable that this stuff actually sells. The Wii is the worst thing to ever happen to gaming. Ever.

Gamer556
I wonder why. Could it be because the mass media is the target of this new E3? No, that's not it.
