@lostn: Shipped and sold are essentially the same thing from a retail standpoint. When a retail store receives video games and hardware they are payed for by the retailer. So whatever price they sell it for is either for profit or a loss to that store.
@justmo: Sony did it. Why not MS? Double standard, I guess. Most that want this machine are those that want premium gaming and entertainment for a great price. No need to throw around negative words like "fanboys." I'm sure Sony will push out something very quick again to keep the pace.
@VENOM6979: I could see a $50 drop or a timed sale like they did with the One, but with it being pushed to a smaller market I don't see it happening any time soon. Perhaps a cool bundle with a game or an elite controller for free.
@siritokakyou: Their not in competition with PC. PC has the largest player base and MS has taken advantage of this by bringing its exclusives to PC and adding crossplay to many of its titles. If anything, with the X, its going to blur lines even more with PC gaming. I used to game a lot on PC, but having time and money to invest just isn't an option, but $500 for 4K gaming on console? Sign me up.
@xenomorphalien: I've reset the game more times than matches played at this point. Sad to because I opted to play campaign because of so many issues with multiplayer and I I'm already done and theres still issues with the game loading.
@soarlozer: If you can ever get it to work properly. Been terrible for me. Headquarters takes forever to load then half the features don't work properly and you get locked into a loading screen for 20 minutes. They really need to give the option to opt out of the HQ experience.
@jasonlc3221: That makes no sense, but then again most enhancements will be minor since most of the game were developed before the X was announced. Newer games like Assassins Creed, Battlefront 2 and Need for Speed will probably be optimized much better than games like Titanfall 2, Fallout 4 and The Witcher 3.
