I can imagine.. The game looks fantastic just watching other people play it. I'm still drooling at the idea of playing it myself. 2014 will be a good year for gaming.

10/10 shouldn't be a pedestal that is impossible to reach. It's been used on games that weren't perfect. It should be given to games that are masterpieces and will be considered as standards in the genre or just does a lot of new things that work. 10/10 should be used if you think the games is a masterpiece So you think both GTA 4 and GTA 5 are masterpieces? Why not? Like I said in an earlier post, I consider 10/10 to be a score for a game that does incredible things with what it has in its moment. GTA IV was a huge leap in the GTA universe. They overhauled their entire game engine and created a new one. They added a new physics engine, they created a living, breathing, realistic NY city setting in HD. That's something your typical Call of Duty game doesn't ever do, and they still get scores relative to what GTA V did. GTA IV (at the time it was released) was in my opinion worthy of a 10. It did a lot to bring gaming forward. Without it, Rockstar wouldn't have been able to make RDR the masterpiece it was. And now GTA V is also making leaps and advances worthy of a 10. It pushes these aging systems beyond what anyone thought they were capable of. It's worthy of a 10 and they haven't even released the online portion of it yet. In my opinion this game far exceeds the cost. You're getting a lot. I find it ridiculous that GS actually gave this game a lower score than GTA IV, and it was all due to reviewer bias. That should never be an issue in a review. That's what I would call a serious lack of professionalism. That's a big slap to the face of Rockstar, one of the greatest developers in existence today. I think it's really shameful what the reviewer did.

3 years. I believe that's how long they're going to keep releasing games on the 360. They've said nothing on the matter of servers. As far as I'm aware, the Xbox Live servers will continue indefinitely. I'm sure we'll all have switched over to the new console by the time (or even if) they decide to move on.

I view it differently. I'm perfectly aware of the confines of today's technology, and I don't see a 10/10 as the legendary "perfect game." I see it as the game that does the best it can with the limits imposed on it. Rockstar took 8 year old hardware (9 for PS3?) and did something amazing with it, pushing it to the very boundaries. This isn't the "perfect game," but it's as perfect as it'll get for 360/PS3. In that sense, why not give a game a 10/10? GTA V certainly deserves it. But anyway, that's not my gripe with GS at all. I'd understand if they chose to give it a 9.8 or even a 9.5, but a 9? There are yearly sports franchise titles that have gotten above that by GS. I also found it very laughable that the reviewer's complaints about the game relied on their own personal biased view on feminism. Clearly this game wasn't meant to be reviewed by someone so touchy and with a stick up their backside. Why didn't GS get one of their better writers to review it? Seems to me like they really mishandled this. Almost like they purposely put someone like her in charge of writing the review just to generate ad revenue. Pathetic.
:| am I the only one who thinks that's ridiculous? This game is easily a 9.5 at least. I can't believe they had some feminist woman who got offended very easily write a review on a game that's meant to offend. What a wreck that was. GS loses more and more credibility every single day.
