I love the way people tell me to stop sucking as a response to my criticism of a game. I'm sorry but it is quite obvious to me, someone who is very capable at wipeout that this version isn't even half as fun a two of the original games mainly due to a restrictive and boring flight model. Drifting is fun and you can't do it in wipeout HD. Can you get a refund over PSN? I suppose not.

Great, no one is telling you to like the game. There is always those few who are disspointed. Like all the crazy reviews for MGS4 and I think after playing that game it is a big POS.

LoL, pilot assist. I would think anyone would have already turned that off. The guy complaining about the game being slow needs to get off Venom class already...Hell Rapier is slow for me. Phantom is definitly not slow though could be faster. Though this game is slower on speed than XL but I am hoping that the ZEN class in zone is later released with an updated as a normal race mode. It obviously is possible with the evidence of the zone modes Zen, Sub-Sonic, and Zeus.

The people complaining about controls, speed, and feeling are just people who suck at the game. I do that with every new wipeout, always am dissapointed, than I get better at it and realize it is better...even if in it's own way. The game is evolving and it is still king of sci-fi racers.

I don't think they are bad, I still have my copy of F-zero X somewhere laying around. Though being a sci-fi racer fan myslef the Fzero saga doesn't even come close to the Wipeout series at all. It is easier to master as well. I laugh because it is such a silly comparison since F-zero in my opinion won't beat XG3 even. Sorry. Most F-zero fans actually didn't give the others more a chance, and I love how compatative Wipeout is with online leader boards.

I played F-zero , F-zero X. I only like the SNES one. The others suck and the rocky music is painful to listen too. Wipeout is Faster on Phantom than F-zero ever was for me. Who here actually that commented on me owns Wipeout HD? ........exactly.

F-zero would own me lol, F-zero racers won't get past zone 30 on any track before their little sheep bains explode.

More of an action game? you mean the way they raped resident evil with the 4th one? So it was good..but it wasn't resident evil anymore. More action horror than survival horror. I assure you Silent Hill 5 still feels like Silent Hill at the roots and is about ammo conservation and careful comabt...not just action hog wash.

I hated it for just that reason, there was a time silent hill games were designed for people like me. :(

Siren however, is my favorite game this gen, and team silent is still my favorite developers. F U double Helix. ( they dont deserve that, yet ill never play another one of there games, cause when i think about them i cringe for a love lost.)

That is strange because I am a huge SH fan and second one being my favorite this one is the colseset thing to it. Did you even beat the new one? The repaly value is awesome and the game is a blast to play for once. It still is just as creepy as previous ones but none of them really scared me really. The combat isn't as stupid anymore and you don't wonder why at a world of strange things like that Harry the idiots can't manage to swing a pipe faster than a 2 year old.

If anything this one isn't less scarry but rahter less frustrating and annoying. The 4th one is by far the most tedius and painful to play.

No, I purchased a 400+ dollar system for Wipeout HD. Money is not an issue for me when it comes to Wipeout games, I love them that much. If you have been playing Wipeout 3 and Wipeout XL as long as me you would too.

My point is simple, everyone has their own reasons for liking and getting a certain thing and sometimes thinks that you think suck others may not even notice.
