With the Blizzard downlaoder its insanily slow (almost 20 hours). I cant find the 2GB downloadble version for people without Burning Crusade. Do I have another option than to wait? My problem isn't internet, I can download the files with Downloader Accelerator Plus (here, the 800MB file) in 20 minutes. Right now it's at 37% and it flickers between 5-7 hours left. Help?
Since most games are now optimized for duel-core, even if you have 4,8 or 100, you can only use 2 at a time so clock speed is more important. But that's only because it can't use the full potential of quad-core (probably be having the same problem when 8 core comes out (Does the i7 hyperthreading count?)). I have Intel Core 2 Duo at 2.66Ghz.
By the way, when you use task manager as you game with quad core, does it use 2 or all 4 cores?
I'm supposing the big processors (i7) are more for people doing audio/video editing and stuff. They need more speed than most in games in a lot of cases. Do you really need 8 cores if your game only supports 2? Audio/video editing on the other hand has supported 64-bit XP when it came out (not many gamers got it I think since it wasn't very stable according to some people) and many other top notch computing stuff.

Try patching it again. Those patches add a lot of fixes and optimizations. Maybe you just had a faulty installation the first time around...
But aren't those optimizations more for multiplayer?
I just used to die randomly when going through corners it was when i was trying to squeeze in through diff objects like drums and stuff kept around the terrain.Also in warhead some enemys just stand there and doesnt attck me they just stand there like dummy and when i just shoot them they still stand there like dummies and eventually dies.sandeep410

If Crysis bugs sometimes, will it also bug in Warhead? It might be because I'm using a 64 bit operating system... The bugs are stuff like, the KPA won't have any weapons and I can't hurt them (I could go through them), I shoot them and they just turn turn in circles as I kill them... But the game use to work the first time I played it. Now I'm tired of trying to get it to work again but if I get Warhead, will these problems persist?
P.S. It might be the patches but I playing without Vsync, anyways, thanks for any help!!
