No David Hayter, people are still burned by Ground Zeroes and the cows can't claim exclusivity or even the best version with a PC version in mind. Not to mention I think a lot of fans would have been fine to see the series go with MGS4 with some amount of dignity and high reputation and Kojima go on to do something different.
IV's my favorite. Suddenly GTA had good combat, good graphics(great at the time and still holds up today which is more than I could say for previous entries even at the time of their release).
Comparing it to V, IV actually had it's multiplayer at launch and it was working great a launch. It didn't need a stupid progression or rewards system either, playing was it's own reward
As a HUGE Halo fan since 2001, this is infuriating.
I just don't understand how they could have "internally tested" this game and still had this bad of performance in the real world.
Hopefully, there will be MULTIPLE real world Betas with Halo 5 to prevent even the possibility of this happening again.
Talking to people who played the game prior to it's release apparently matchmaking was working just fine until official release. I really have no idea what cause it, it can't be something obvious or simple or else they'd have caught it before release and it'd been fixed by now.
I don't think 343's incompetent. Halo 4 launched in great shape, these guys aren't rookies. I'm not excusing this but I think this was a genuine unforeseeable mistake. I really don't think Microsoft or the people who make a living on the success of Halo wanted to damage such an important franchise just to make a quick buck.
Obviously a lot of care went into it's creation, it just feels more like bad luck. But that's just how I see it, we really can't know for sure. Only those at Microsoft and 343 really can
MCC will be worth it... when it's fixed. Sunset was great but Im not sure I can say it was worth sixty dollars. Idk. I don't feel jipped but it only kept me for thirty hours and not every moment had me at the edge of my seat or anything.
What the hell are you talking about? Did you forget last gen with the summer of arcades and great indie games like Bastion, Splosion Man and Super Meat Boy being a big deal? Back then cows would argue that download only and indie title didn't count.
Get off it, if anything cows would be the first to say indies don't count.
That's shameful for a Sony console. Even the PS3 had (those kinds of) games at this point (Uncharted: Drake's Fortune released one year after the PS3).
Uncharted was mediocre and was carried by it's concept and production values. PS3 was pretty lame in 2007 too.
