::Sigh:: I'm calling again today and if they still have no status on my repair, I'm demanding that they find out wtf is going on or get me a new one. It's been seven days, and I never even received my confirmation email. If I get a console back, is there any way I can take it to a store as a gift (like a Wal-Mart), and ask them for store credit or something? I have all the original packaging.

I'm starting to get paranoid here. Mine arrived on the 19th and I never received a confirmation email, and there's no update status on the repair when I call.

So, I found out today from UPS that my 360 is currently in McCallen, Texas for repairs. It was delivered there last Tuesday (19th). Any idea on how long it'll be before I get it back?Crimson540

Wow man, mine also arrived at the McAllen repair center on the 19th. Judging by the amount of people sending their boxes for repair this month, I'll bet I won't get mine for another month or two. I called customer service on Sat. and then again yesterday, and they have no update on my repair status.

[QUOTE="teebeenz"]OpenGL is faster because its a clean pathway, in directx is bogged down by MS's crap. Still however those who have seen KZ2 running have said it was far from impressive.Robotrix

You immediately render your info nothing but a load of rubbish just from that biased fanboyism. So give up and go do some research.

What were you payed by CrapSoft to come here and post this? Go and do a comparison on a GL complient vid card vs. dx, and you'll see that OpenGL is capable of faster fps. Infact, go look up some of other people's comparisons as well.

Go on ahead and continue to supply MS with more money, just like all of the other hopeless losers out there. I'll stick to my stuff, knowing that yours is garbage.

I don't mean to start a flame war here or anything, but the whole "job" issue is kind of irrelevant to mmos. I'm a long term mmo player (not just in WoW), and I always find myself going back to them. I never really spent a lot of time on fps games and now that I have an even smaller amount of time to game, I can't keep up with the little kids and jobless losers that play nonstop.

MMOs let you jump in and do quests and even fight other players, without requiring reflex and aim skills. In my case, being that my reflex and aim skills are low.. I always end up quitting fps games. All games can get addicting, but if you have a real life to worry about, you be spending all of your time on it. In mmos that doesn't affect your skills.

I would say that the people going on about how their launch consoles work fine, are either truly lucky or barely playing the thing. I can't say that I didn't take care of mine, and like many others it also broke. It's clear that they made mistakes somewhere in the hardware design, and I'm guessing that it can't withstand too much game time.

My point is that when you're making a game console, you know people play games A LOT, some even take it to the extreme. It's their job to ensure that you can do just that with their console.

I don't know whether you guys are playing the same Warhawk I've played, or have not played any good shooters because Warhawk is not good at all. For a game that's blatantly resembling BF2, it doesn't even come close to that game.

- Unlike the battlefield series, they allow for way too much vehicle whoring.

- They only have 3 vehicles to begin with.

- The game reaks of poor design.

I would say that the best things the game has, is the customization upon ranking and the epic music. Now being that the previous Warhawk was a flight game, maybe they intended for the majority of the game to be played in the air. If that's the case then I personally dislike those types of games, but they shouldn't have added in ground combat. I also dislike huge games with large number of players and big maps, so that also detracts from it.

Well said. I agree 100%. We need to get people ages 15+ to review these games

yea um i'm 20 and I disagree that the game is not good at all. I've been having a blast playing the game.

I'm not going to get into why on this forum, but both of you are free to discuss this at length with me in the official beta forums.

Have you played BF2 or even 2142 for that matter? If so, I can't really understand why you'd find Warhawk entertaining but that's your opinion either way. As I stated above, I don't find large vehiculer games to be fun. Warhawk happens to not even come remotely close to the features that those games have. Therefore I'd hate to waste my time on a game that is inferior.
